  1. One thing I understand from this is that Marika is the only one with proper understanding of the Outer Gods. Ranni blindly trusts their guidance, Miquella challenges them without knowing their potential, but Marika might actually be the only character to take down and replace those gods.

  2. Don't forget that it was Pontiff Sulyvahn who enabled the Deep and Aldrich to gain such power. He was an opportunist who turned his populace into beasts, while also using them to gain control beyond the magic wall of Irithyll to further out his own power. To me Aldrich was just a pawn in Pontiff's plan and Pontiff is the truest villain of the fall of Anor Londo.
