  1. Jim Davis played a Deck that won with the Reenact/Beseech Loop and Stormsplitters a while ago in Bloomburrow. The Cursed recording turning it into a much denser twocard combo does push it into maybe a real thing, tho.

  2. Since some people are confused by step 4 in the combo (they one where we sort of repeat the same process of using Beseech to get another Cursed Recording), the reason that step exists is just to get a copy of Beseech the Mirror in the graveyard for Reenact the Crime a few steps later.

  3. Very cool deck and Combo, shout outs to bant forever . “Full control “ is such a joke on arena. Just turns itself off whenever it feels like it. I lose so many games playing storm in timeless to that.

  4. I've created an aggro white deck that is currently at 21-8 in standard bo1. Is there somewhere specific to send the deck for Seth to check out? I would love to get his reaction to white now copying those red turn 2 or 3 kills. My aggro white deck is on average 3-5 turn kill if you get a good hand. It can be risky with only 9 creatures, but trust me, when it works, it's great.

  5. It's really sad to see a glorification of any intellect for a cardboard crap game. There is no merit in any of this compared to philosophy and theology. I have learned that this is just a cheesy stupid thing. That's all really.

  6. I played it, lots of fun! I fought a deck that had 2 one with the multiverse by turn 5 and was reanimating atraxas and etalis… I won at 2 life by holding up an instant to get another trigger of stormcatcher to blank his kill spell!

  7. I really don’t like the Duskmourn setting in Magic, if I’m being honest, but I’d be lying if I said Cursed Recording isn’t a really cool card with how well it conveys the plot of The Ring with its mechanics. The corporate side of Hasbro and WotC may be shamelessly shitting up the game, but R&D is still slaying it as hard as ever.
