The MOON vs. MARS ~ Lunar and Martian Potential ~ (Episode 6/6)

The Moon and Mars have become the focus of various space programs for future colonization, but what do we stand to gain from this effort?

Why colonize the Moon?
Why colonize Mars?
What role will the Moon and Mars play in the future of our civilization?

*My Research!*
Here’s a google doc containing links to the various sources I relied on for my facts & info:

  1. Nice vids … did you miss some things … not too much 🙂 and heaps ! 🙂 Maybe in your next video you can compare Mars to Venus. Not much work/thought has been done for Venus.

  2. The main problem you forgot to address is the psychological impacts of such a journey. We've seen from the past, from people living in Antarctica, and the pandemic, that people living in a small space is very hard. In Antarctica where people stay several months inside essentially a large bunker and cannot leave that psychological disorders can easily form. This is the most dangerous part about sending people to mars, except they'll be isolated for years instead of months, with minimal contact from the rest of the world
