  1. I dislike this Twit making us Brujas look bad. Ugh.
Now witches exist in all cultures and religions etc but it feels extra icky watching Christians like JLW and Angela cherry picking things of pagan beliefs and then being racist. People of color, people of the African Diaspora were forced to covert to christianity and all aspects of indigenous and yoruba religions were extinguished. And then comes white women manifesting, burning sage over a colonialism dumpster fire. Makes me stabby. Also as a woman of color who REALLY grew up in poverty, I too had distrust of doctors. It’s part bad experiences and part systemic medical discrimination towards Black women and other POC. And I still believe in doctors.

  2. 1:01:33 milder dairy intolerance can fade with age, it did for my nephew who can tolerate chocolate with milk in it now. Some ethnicities have very low levels of lactase enzyme function in the population. But basically if you have the DNA to code tor the lactase enxyme you can then digest lactose the sugar in milk. (a word ending – ase = enzyme ; word ending – ose = a sugar).

If raw milk contained the enzyme to break milk proteins down, then it would be predigested!!!

Raw milk drank at source, your own cow or at the farm, yes can have bacteria, mostly from the point it leaves the udder. So drunk within hours the bacteria are limited in number. Getting milk to market, and then modern day distribution networks, needs preservation so kill bacteria. Pasteurised is refined to the ideal time and temperature. UHT is ultra high temperature, get long life, but less nice to drink.
Homogenisation was a more recent thing, and basically is the fats made to stay mixed. Iand not settle at top. In 80s childhood I loved the cream on top, and that was all pasteurised. I still have moments of automatically shaking the milk before opening…

Oh an the liver stuff, yep the liver's whole actual function is detoxing. It doesn't need help, it needs us not to make it's job harder.

  3. Anti men info is so negative. Instead of billing it as 'no men allowed they will be blocked', she could have stated more positively 'I want this to be a woman only space, so please no men,, I will block any who don't respect my choice to have a female only stream.'. Same message, but less aggressive.

And 4 caterpillars is not the huge invasion force she sounded like she was complaining about.

  4. Replay Crew here, got to the liver part. I had a concentration in Toxicology in Graduate school. Basically your liver gets rid of toxins in two ways.

    1) Enzymes in the liver modify the the thing they want to get rid of (either stuff from your body, like hormones that you want to go way after awhile and not build up, or stuff you ingested) by making it more likely for the kidneys to pull it from the blood and put it in the urine.

    2) Enzymes in the liver stick the toxin onto glutathione, it goes into the bile, the intestines can no longer absorb it, and it goes out with the poop.

The enzymes just do their reactions, they don't do this intelligently. Sometimes bacteria in the gut will helpfully cleave the toxin off the glutathione and you can absorb it all over again. It is pretty fascinating.

This can be used by drug manufacturers as sometimes an inactive form of the drug is better absorbed, and the liver happily activates it for you as part of its normal enzymatic process.

Sometimes this causes drug interactions. When you have a lot of thing A in your body you make more enzymes to detoxify it, this means you may then activate way more of thing B than is typical. They enzymes do not know what concentration you want of something in your blood.

The one people tend to run into with that is alcohol and Tylenol. The more alcohol you drink, the more of this one enzyme you make to get rid of it. That same enzyme reacts with Tylenol into a minor metabolite that is toxic can damage your liver. Glutathione comes to the rescue, binds to the toxic metabolite and it goes out in the poop. The problem is you have a limited supply of glutathione, so a bit too much alcohol and a bit too much Tylenol and your liver gets trashed.

One theory of the coffee enzymes is they make your liver dump out the bile. You should be regulating your bile release as too much bile can irritate the colon (why some people with their gall bladder removed have diarrhea). But people seem to want to think more pooping is always more detoxing.

  5. 2:37:02 ma'am if you don't want creeping as you breast feed, maybe don't try doing it on a live.

Looking further back, if you chop or cook food you are processing it. I know she means highly processed food, but not all processing is bad. And her coconut oil has a lot of processing, virgin or otherwise

  6. Halfway through the replay and I'm so confused by the point of this live/why people are even watching?? She's just been talking about caterpillars and milk. Why would anyone waste their time watching this without commentary?

  8. Witch here: a person can be both Christian and a practicing witch. If she’s specifically said she is no longer a witch, then that’s another story. I just wanted to point out that witchcraft is not a religion it’s a practice. Therefore, different witches follow different religions (or none).

At the same time, I would not put it passed her to emphasize Christianity to perpetuate what, in my opinion, is a grift. In a numbers game, you want to speak to the majority. Very reminiscent of Doreen Virtue realizing she could sell more books to Christians than oracle cards to new agers.

  9. Lactose intolerance is NOT from pasteurization. Genetically, the vast majority of people of East Asian heritage are born lactose intolerant. And consuming raw milk can be very dangerous, especially for children, the elderly and the immunocompromised because of all the pathogens in it, both naturally occurring and ones that can be exacerbated by modern factory farming.

  10. 1:30:20 HOW IS SHE OK WITH SO MANY CATERPILLARS ALL OVER HER HOUSE‽ At this point, they're all over the floor, on the walls, and it sounds like they're everywhere! That is BAD! She's gotta have some serious issues with leaks, maybe water issues, or a bug infestation, or something. Something is wrong. She needs to deal with this before it hurts her baby. This is so worrying. Act, Angela! ACT!
