As far as I understand, most of the stuff in the movie is scientifically pretty accurate. The biggest inaccuracies are probably the storm in beginning that caused the whole situation and the Ironman flying in the end. The atmosphere on Mars is so thin that even a high speed storm wouldn't cause much damage, but they had to have something to leave a man stranded, otherwise there wouldn't be a movie. And trying to steer your flight with a hole in your suit is very, very difficult, so he would have probably ended up anywhere but the ship. But a great movie and a nice reaction video!
