With The Mandalorian Season 3 on Disney+ now hitting the halfway point, we pause to take a look at its most glaring issue: the slow and unexciting approach to its conflicts. This issue is especially noticeable in episodes two and four of Season 3 of this Disney Star Wars show, so we break down exactly what caused the issue and how it’s symptom of a larger issue with the show.

dude chill. let the world building happen
It's ok Rey Skywalker will save the series.
Half the season over and we still don't know where the plot is going…
There's no season arc.
As long as there Mando in this show, I’m sure everyone is enjoying it 😊
The Mandalorian Season 3 needs more tension. You are not as invested in the characters or plot, this season.
No one hates Star Wars like Star Wars fans. And apparently IGN doesn't know what world building is.😂
we aren't running through a villain of the season plot here. We are watching the story of Mando and Grogu on their journey. Why do you think each episode is a continued chapter and not S3ep4? The show is working great. Changing it for a simple sense of urgency would alter the dynamic and next year you would be back here complaining that it lost its roots and went too fast.
Episode 4 was so bad
IGN wtf are you talking about? You guys just love to be different. “Everyone loves it, so maybe we should make a video about why they are wrong.”
Does it tho? Kind of jumping the gun i'm enjoying the show thanks. Even with some points here we still have the rest of the season..Just seems a tad pointless
The season is fine as it is. You guys are just being silly. Not everything needs to have big action set pieces and explosions. It's fine for the show to take it's time, it's called world-building.
Let them mf cook.
Why?
Kinda think this is a terrible take. Let a story meander sometimes. Not every story needs to be structured like how to write a screenplay for dummies.
Iam enjoying it ign team needs to be tested
No Cara Dune. Not really worth commenting on anything else. Every problem flows from the mindset that destroyed the show's best qualities.
Agreed, there’s too many filler episodes and it feels without direction
Bet this was the dude who asked why they didn’t just fly the giant eagles to Mordor….
It really doesn't. The detail and exposition is terrific in this season.
