  1. Bo is on a redemption arc, she'll get council from the Armorer about the Myth vision… She's not about having Mandos fighting Mandos. She wants the Imps down for good.

  2. This stream reminds me of the Shoes video from LiamKyleSullivan. Just rewatched that video, and it's still great almost 17 years later. Mollie would absolutely love it.

  3. I really loved this episode. It felt like the Clone Wars in the best way possible. And I love whenever we get to see every day life on coruscant, and how the politics of the galaxy effects normal people, so all the Pershing/Elia stuff really worked for me.

  4. I think the reason why the ex empire people are given numbers instead of there names is because the new republic is trying to keep there real identities a secret just in case people come after them for revenge.

  5. I think the children of the watch are semi misunderstood they’re not like a cult more like the jesuits who have absolute faith in what 29:08 they believe in rather than what the colloquial term of a cult is now a days where someone uses these beliefs to keep there power. I believe the armourer and the rest of the children of the watch fully believe what they do and follow that path whether right or wrong. Not saying I think they’re right just saying I believe that they are true to their faith it’s not a control mechanism

  6. 30:22 so what makes a mandalorian a mandalorian then? If they aren’t born mandalorians like foundlings and if they don’t follow or believe in the history and culture of the mandalorian people then what is a mandalorian? I’m not saying the watch is right I don’t think they are but there is a fine line here, I honestly don’t know the answer, I think a people’s culture and history is an important part of who they are especially the mandalorians who are mostly going to made up of foundlings now. I think we need to make sure we’re not imposing our own culture and beliefs on them. My ideal outcome is that the children of the watch remain as they are but accept those like Bo Katan as mandalorians as well who follow slightly different beliefs with a core that is the same. All these different groups accepting each other for the their commonalities not looking at differences and accepting that they can have slightly different beliefs while still being a United people. I don’t want the children of the watch to stop wearing their helmets, not because I think they’re right but for the overarching message of the show

  7. You also didn’t mention when she was ramp up the mind flayer to 11 they took the time to show her eating a Yellow Biscuit, when she said she likes the Red ones.

I like how open and accepting the Amrourer was with BO even so far to say you can leave at anytime but you are welcome to stay.

As long as you sober our rules you are welcome. I feel like she’s less of a hardliner than she puts on.

  8. Din mis-stepped because the Empire destroyed the bottom of the mines. It was a normally shallow pool, per Bo's comments in EP3. Of course he was also unconscious. I thought that was obvious. I thought the storyline of Dr Pershing and Elia Kane should have been slightly more obvious than leaving us guessing what just happened. But I loved the episdoe!

  9. "Why do so many characters in Star Wars wear high calf boots?" I think the real question is why people (well, men, anyway) don't wear them more in real life. High calf/knee-high boots are awesome! I think all these stupid ankle boots and low calf boots are lame. Screw that noise. And yes, Alex, you should definitely get some high calf/knee high boots! Even if it's only for cosplay 😅.

  10. If the Children of the Watch are supposed to be a stand in for religions like Alex mentioned briefly at the beginning, it is dangerous waters to keep making such a hard stand that they should abandon their traditions.

Not to stir the pot, but it’s like telling Muslim people who choose to wear coverings that they need to stop. It’s just as bad as the people who are forced to wear it against their will. It’s all about choice and if it has personal significance and doesn’t hurt anyone, then what’s the problem?

  11. I think the comment comparing Bo Katan to Daenerys is super valid and makes a lot of sense to me. As a GoT book reader myself, I always expected some confrontation to happen between Dany and Jon since quite early in the books. The reason was because they were both clearly the heroes of the story but while Jon was going through his Hero journey, Dany was someone who wanted the power since the beginning. She felt entitled to rule Westeros and that was her goal. She was doing a lot of good in Essos, freeing slaves and all of that. She was loved and she could easily just stay there and rule everything without thinking about Westeros, and yet she left Essos so she could rule Westeros. So to me it was quite clear that Dany and Jon would ended up against each other.
Now I do think Bo Katan and Din situation quite resembles Dany and Jon. Din is going through his hero journey of sorts. Not seeking power but yet he got the dark saber. While Bo used to rule and seems bitter that she lost the power. So I do think Bo wants to have the power back while Din is not looking for it but his is getting there anyway. So yeah…I wouldn't be shocked if we see them two clashing at some point.

  12. Bo Katan dove after Din in less than 5 seconds and immediately engaged her rocket pack. There's no way he naturally sank that quickly without being pulled down. If that's what actually happened, then it was terrible visual storytelling.
