  1. A good man who understood the true meaning of peace ,stood up for the nationalists of Belfast only to be turned on by the men of violence.
    A visionary of what could have been instead of the needless bloodshed.

  2. Wanted peace and seems reasonable. Martin McGuiness ended up in his black tie and tails having dinner with the establishment at the queen's dinner. Fitt never came close to doing that.

    The civil rights were hijacked by people way behind his way of thinking who realised what he was saying 20 pointless yrs later.

  3. How delusional the Ulster Unionists were. According to them the problem was not the dire circumstances in which Catholics lived. No the problem was highlighting the issues. They really were stuck up their own backsides.

  4. Its a disgrace that just because the man went and recorded a few audio comedy tapes with ian paisley & robert that jerry fit was deminised.

    Adams should not forget that he himself took part in those recordings.
