  1. As a former avid Sprout-watcher, i had no idea that The Good Night Show was lost media in the first place, let alone that so much of it was lost!! Seeing all that recovered footage unlocked some major core memories! It makes me genuinely sad knowing that almost all of the episodes have been lost, hope all of it gets found eventually!

  2. Haha Doritos crash course two, I loved playing that game. I was so sad when the game went down without reason. I’ll be sure to look at my 360 to see if I still have it. Think I must of deleted it long ago though,

  3. I have a song with 2000s vibes (pretty sure I found it in 2008) that has no Author and no official title, yet when I posted it to reddit, I got 1 reply and no support. If you want a copy of it I can link the reddit post.

  4. If you ever do a second video one this topic, there is a flash game that has been lost to time for a while and was released during this era. It's called Amateur Surgeon Hospital. It was originally a game playable on Facebook and was created by Adult Swim as a sort of sequel/spin off to the games Amateur Surgeon and Amateur Surgeon 2. You were able to operate in the game and do a lot more stuff. You could think of it like dragon city from around that time period, where it was a Facebook exclusive. There used to be a lot of videos on YouTube of it's gameplay, but are now lost.

  5. Dose anyone know "ubi world"? Its a ubisoft flash game like webkinz, except, there are not plush virtual pet codes. You play as your female avatar and drive around in you scooter in these different sky islands, one was the "imagine" games, another island is the "pets" games. Then you can customize you're own living space for you're avatar. I can only find a few screen shots, but thats it. I cant find any commercials and when I click the URL, it takes me to the main ubisoft page. I still have my login user and pass written down, so I know I'm not going crazy. It has some fugrital aero asthetic. I just wanna put this out there.

  7. I'm still surprised by the love for the aesthetic given that I really dislike it. I always wonder if it's just nostalgia, of if people genuinely like it. I just thought it was a bit too sterile. Although, from this video, I do remember enjoying Wubbzy. Of all the shows my kid watched, that was one that for some reason I also enjoyed. There was a touch of surrealism in it and I think that did it. Until they added that other character. I don't remember her name, but that tanked the show. She was a real Poochie. At least it's not Backyardigans. lol

  8. Hey, cool to see Nakayoshi Chao! I made an in depth video on this a while back, not trying to plug myself or anything, it's just cool to see someone else cover it since I don't see people talk about it much. Kinda surprising since I always hear people asking why a chao mobile game hasn't been made yet, but they actually have. πŸ™‚

  9. Good video but I gotta say, the tune played at 4:51 kinda jumpscared me because it's my phone's ringtone lol. Also, I've never heard of Zanpo before this video, but now I wish I did cuz that's definitely the sort of game I'd have played religiously as a kid.

  10. In terms of frutiger aero I personally miss using the Windows Vista/7 operating systems, these are daily systems that we use in our lives; they had the perfect definition of frutiger aero with the usage of transparency, bokeh, aurora wallpapers, skeuomorphic icons from apps to files. Windows 8.1 and 10 look so dull and boring in comparison with their flat designs. Boring! Windows 11 gave a facelift to windows 10 in terms of user interface, there's more transparency but it's still flat design. God I miss the frutiger aero days.

  11. My guess for the Wii photo channel photos is that they were taken specifically by Nintendo employees themselves to be used specifically for the banner for that channel. If this is the case, which it likely is, they probably have no interest in releasing them any time soon, seeing as how they probably don't care about lost media and don't want anything they created to be enjoyed in any context other than it's original, preservation of media be damned, as evidenced by when they sued someone for trying to preserve a Mario 64 manual online, or how they completely shut down the E-shop for the 3DS and Wii U with no regards for what happens to the games that could only be bought through the E-shops on those specific consoles.

  12. Does anyone know the song at the start of the Sega chapter? I keep recognizing it in videos I watch but I don't know what it's from, it's killing me lol. Like I know I've heard it before
edit: Fuuuuck, I found it after rummaging through lots of console soundtracks. It's the Mii Maker music from the Wii U.

  13. Ngl, I'm not suprised Frutiger Aero has its own lost media. With such a niche aesthetic that's been long-forgotten by most, it's no suprise the lost media is like a goldmine.

I'm glad my two favorite lost media youtubers are collating together, thank you for this πŸ™‚

  14. Hey, if you're familiar with frutiger aero music playlists on youtube, I can give you a cool backstory on the "Lease" song by takeshi abo. It comes from a pretty obscure visual novel for the ps2 that sold decently in Japan. One of the characters of the game is a robot maid whose theme in the game became popular because it gives frutiger aero vibes. The sequel, my merry maybe, has a remake of the theme and is actually a pretty interesting story on its own. I can elaborate if anyone is interested.
