  1. Life in this lagoon is governed by the moon and the tidal cycles. This regulates the seasons so that complex life forms can develop, adapt, and thrive. Every 6 hours these tides change, pushing seawater into the lagoon, and sucking it out again. This constant breathing of the tides has resulted in the weirdest array of creatures, little known to man. Wouldn’t you love just once to have your day determined by the tides?

  2. Beautiful, hope it stays like this. Hard to believe all shore lines, estuaries, reefs, seas, lakes, rivers and deltas were all plentiful like this. Now even these last remaining sanctuaries are under threat, it's maddening. I love watching these but unfortunately most end with bad news and I come out of it with a love for the beauty and hate for the human involvement. Every predator and there are many in this documentary take their fill and move on……not humans , they take their fill and then some for profit day after day.

  3. Here we go again, the nature documentaries literally painting the people with handmade canoes as the greatest threat. That's BS. The biggest threat to the ecosystem isn't the little people, it's the global corporations.

  4. Blaming natives and villagers on the destruction of nature breeds ignorance. It's not them doing all the destruction, it's the giant corporations who are destroying land and polluting water. A village person is closer to nature, most likely closer than we are at home watching this. They are so small in comparison. I guess at home we're intruders who are destroying all the wildlife and the whole ecosystem every time we step into our backyards or go for a hike or go fishing? See how much sense that makes? Documentaries need to stop ignorantly blaming the little people.

  5. Any lagoon or reef system is very fragile, the shallow water that gives life can become diseased, or other natural events, storms, climate change, the shallow waters is where life began, it makes sense, having the water and the sunlight combination allows for growth. 🌎🙏
