Pearl Harbor was a pivotal moment in American history; the catalyst that sparked the United States’ direct engagement with Hitler and his allies. But despite being such a well-documented and highly publicized event in world history — mysteries do remain. Does the Japanese submarine that sparked the attack on Pearl Harbour still lie at the bottom of the Hawaiian sea? And just what became of the USS Arizona? This documentary attempts to find out.

This doco MORON says @ 1:33:53 american Fighter jets trying to chase the attacker…… that has NOT been made as yet … just a lil F up huh ..
There's so many inaccuracies in this film it's appalling. Just to name a few. The Japanese midget subs was designed and expected to make it back to the mother ships. They we're not designed as suicide subs like so inaccurately depicted. However they also might have been expected to make it back as far as they could and radio for rescue and scuttle The sub. The range and time the subs had depended on the speed at which they traveled. 100nm at 2kn 80nm at 6kn and 18nm at 19kn. Plus whatever time spent sitting on the bottom or drifting. The crafts so hastily built left something to be desired in the area of comfort and air quality. And reliability of the navigation equipment to name a few.
Did I just hear the narrator say ‘fighter jet?’
Yes, I went back, and he did say ‘fighter jet.’
While jet aircraft did take part in WW2 They did not take take part in the attack on pearl harbour.
My Dad was shipped to Pearl Harbor from San Francisco. While waiting for his deployment to the Solomons, he was recovering bodies from the wrecked ships. Just the mention of Japan would cause his whole demeanor to change. My Brother took him to Pearl and when he was on the Arizona memorial, Japanese tourists were laughing. They were lucky my brother was their to restrain him. The next time he went, signs were posted in Japanese warning them that the USS Arizona was a memorial and to act respectfully.
Sorrounds dart Hawaii ouho island going to 100 percent next

As Al Murray pointed out”America was taken by surprise by Japan during a GLOBAL war, that had been going on for two years” it stinks, they knew it was coming

In WW2 USA helped China against Japan now the same China is kidding and terrifying with spy balloon USA. Till date USA haven't learnt lesson that 👃 is used to take oxygen to live not to put in other countries bilateral matter. Most of USA's dirty political decision backfired on them. Unfortunately civilians suffered.
Had the Japanese called off the initial attack, and waited until the carriers were at Pearl Harbor, they probably would have achieved their goals. By pressing ahead with just the battleships in port, they made the worst mistake imaginable. From the moment their first bombs fell on Hawaii, it was the beginning of the end for the empire of the rising sun.
We are as a country SOOOO stupid!!! To this day. We let the Japs walk all oh
I watch world war 2 stuff all the time, but whenever I watch anything Pearl Harbor related I get real emotional and tears are brought out, god bless our brave men
It is unfortunate that America knew the attack was coming and let it happen anyway to allow them to enter the war in a defensive posture
A most surprising and unknown possession in my dear fathers belongings was a very small book , I opened its contents to read page by small page a description of daily life of my then grandfathers life as the war was being final closed down .He was trained as a tank operator and was in deployment to the Philippines. . A stop in the Hawian Islands he describes being a ship that passed by the surrendering delegation upon a US battleship. He played witness to the Pacific war and remained in the Philippines during the rest of his assignment . I only found this by chance and can only relay what a strong union of people towns tyranny to never see it rise again . I fear we are on an edge of that storm again .
Learn from history, wonder about climate change and Earthquake have been interrupt. Then the war between national start again as you can see them.

The narrator says, "The attack, no one saw coming." That is historically incorrect. Roosevelt was told about their plan several times. The last time the 27th sent a warning was only 3 days before the attack. Even Japan sent him a letter, all but stating their intentions.
Those men and that base were left out there, in the dark.
The government knew that without a bloody act, such as this, they wouldn't be able to convince the American people into supporting this new war.
They were sacrificed. This is by far, not the only time it's been done.
Worst birthday ever 😒
An outstanding marvel of history and documentary on the era of world warll in the Pacific in 1941. The near replication of the start to finish from both sides gives us a clear path of how horrific war can affect world peace and humanity. This film is dedicated to all that ensued the struggles and ideas of freedom come forth before and after. Give thanks and praises to all that served and died for our country. God bless America.
