THE LEGO MOVIE (2014) TWIN BROTHERS FIRST TIME WATCHING MOVIE REACTION!

It was nice to do an animated film that wasn’t Disney nor Pixar related, was not expecting the Lego Movie to be so wholesome!

  1. Man. Imagine your son telling you that you don't have to be the bad guy. I can't imagine any, good, Father hearing that and not die inside. Knowing that you are the villain in your own son's story.

  2. This movie was funny and well-animated enough to become an instant hit. But the reason why people still remember it isn't because of the visual stuff – you remember movie "Avatar"? It was a hit, but people forgot about it very soon. No, the reason why the Lego Movie is still remembered is because it had that unexpected depth to it.

  3. PLEASE tell me you're going to do the LEGO Batman movie. This movie is amazing but omg they knocked it out of the park with that movie, honest to god one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

  4. I only just realized…. It's 8 1/2 years later, because the prophecy is made when the kid is born. Having a son will lead Will Ferrell to eventually embrace his inner creativity.

  5. ALSO! Since you guys love the crossovers of the words, when president business says on TV that if they don’t follow the instructions they will be “put to sleep”, this is referencing how if Finn doesn’t follow the “do not touch” signs then he will be put to bed by his dad.

  6. I put this movie off for a couple years, but my kids begged me to watch it. So I did w/ them, and I remember thinking it was pretty good, but to find out at the end that the entire movie was just a kid playing and having an imagination made this brilliant.

  7. If I had to choose any superpower, it'd be the power to be a master builder. Imagine someone leaves a room, then comes back in 30 seconds later and they see a rail gun aimed at their face.

  8. This film is the perfect example that a big Franchise corporate product can be made into a great motion picture with the Right Writing.
Great writing can save any film, it is just a shame we dinae have much of it these days

  9. Hardly anyone notices that Wyldstyle runs through the barn building a wooden Bat Tumbler from The Dark Knight. (We do not know her bf is Batman, but it makes such sense on repeat viewings.)

The opening conflict is The Dad fighting himself. His Lord Business side defeated his Vetruvius side, permanently blinding him. (Until eight-and-a-half years later.)

And it makes me very happy that you guys have lived lives that do not leave you running in terror at the words "Micro-management!"
