  1. Hey there everyone! Sorry this videos isn't up to par in terms of quality compared to my regular content. It's been soooo long since we had anything new to talk about and I wanted to get my early thoughts out quick for a change. I will make sure that future videos about this game will meet the standards of production value you are used to from this channel.

On another note, I will still be releasing my video about the (hypthetical) Zelda Dungeon Maker in the coming weeks. I worked too hard on it to just let sit on the bench for months upon end. So expect to see it show inbetween videos about Tears of the Kingdom.

Lastly, be sure to share your thoughts and ideas as much as possible. Either here, or in my discord. Let's puzzle this thing together as a team! ^^

  2. We already saw a piece of a sort of floating island, come to think of it.. in the battle with the monk maz koshia, from there you also could see a good part of hyrule. Also, all the sheika monks have very long hair. I really wonder where this story is going, i'm super exited for the game and all the theories that come of this trailer

  3. Hey, (i think) you’ve theorized before that the Zonai could have been betrayed by Ganon towards the end of his conquest
Could the soldiers on the right side of the mural, in the malice and on the ground dead, be representing said betrayal? They’re on the side of the monsters of malice after all

  4. Has anyone else noticed that link’s shield has 7 triangles on it and the below the eye symbol it looks like three ways of accessing the sky platforms if you think the dots on the end could be holders to access the sky islands?

  5. I like the elements of the new game and all the detail in the world with environment interaction. But if they could merge these concepts with the play style of legend of Zelda and ocarina of time, I believe would make for the most enjoyable gameplay for a Zelda title. The wear of weapons is a beating in my opinion.

  6. Isnt every1 forgetting about zeldas mother? Didnt they say in breath of the wild that she went missing or died? Maybe one of those carving pictures is about her ?

EDIT* Also in the second trailer where they show link flying first time, at the end you can hear zeldas lullaby, and in breath of wilds story, zeldas mother made it and sang it to her as a kid. (Yes i know in the real lore thats not how zeldas lullably is created, its for this games story only).
Even in age of calamity, at the end didnt the robot sing zeldas lullaby to calm zelda down and it reminded her of her mother? We hear that song in a trailer for this game so theres no way zeldas mother isnt important to this game

  7. Could the mysterious figure be the goddess Farore? Her association with green energy and the Zonai as the Goddess of courage make me think this might be the case. Also we don't really get a good look at the 3 goddesses aside from the creation myth from OOT

  8. You may also notice as a small fun detail, that the dragons are also present in the floating island world. Head and tail seen behind a far left isle in the distance just before Link dives off.

  9. Yo maybe this is stupid, but what if everyone is wrong and the Deity figure in the mural is Farore herself. Farore's wind, they are depicted in the sky above the clouds, and what if this teaser is hinting at the old hero being a disciple of Farore like Zelda's predecessors are disciples/incarnations of Hylia?

We have never seen the three major Goddesses take humanoid form so there is a lot of room for the possibility. Also, the bulk of Zonai ruins seem to be situated near Faron woods near Farosh's spring.

  10. 🤔🤔🤔what if TofK is an alternate reality, that is why the worlds are the same but does not have any shrines or the Deku tree, and we didn’t see the sky islands in BotW!!! 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮🤯

  11. I followed Zeltik and NintendoBlackCrisis before Monster Maze existed, yet he is who I most look forward to hearing Zelda news from.

I feel like MonsterMaze has even inspired Zeltik and Crisis method of delivery, cuz I've noticed, since mingling with MoMa, they've both become considerably less stoic and "objective," with the way they present theories. Which is a good thing. I respect that they like to immerse listeners, but there's being theoretical and then there's being presumptuous, and if you don't throw in some "maybes" or "take this with a grain of salt" when speaking on behalf of someone else's work of fiction, it does begin to sound a bit self-assured/imperious, esp with a series so prone to open endedness.

I also think Monster Maze is just one of the most chill game enthusiasts on YouTube. He doesn't tryhard with jokes or reinventing the wheel of Zelda theories. His presentations are professional, yet witty and lighthearted.

  12. I think that may be Link in armor using the final Spirt and Six sages to battle malice. I think it is time due to Ganon being stuck in time and Link using time manipulation. If you look at the trailer, the Castle is floating like in OOT. I think link will be required to free all sages power and then properly battle Ganon.

  13. It is exciting to imagine how much TotK allowed Nintendo to expand and improve on BotW's concepts. BotW def experienced a development hell that ended with a lot of compromise, from janky user interfaces to whole game mechanics being cut. TotK isn't just a sequel for sequel's sake, it's the team finally being able to implement everything they wanted for BotW, and then some. It's a passion project, fully realized. And given it recycles the engine and likely a lot of assets of BotW, yet still took just as long to develop, it's hard to imagine just what TotK has in store.

  14. It looks like the mural behind the title is the one with the long haired character facing left earlier in the trailer. And it looks like the character on the left of that – making some kind of weird ritual handclasp with the figure on the right – is probably the same as the one depicted seated on the floating island. Which raises all kinds of questions….

  15. There's one theory circling around the fandom, alluding to the timeline coming "full circle" in reference not just to the ouroboros-symbology in the games' logo referencing an ancient belief in an eternal cycle of life and death, but also because in the same vein there are so many references from other and past timelines being made in just this one game.
Nintendo, on the surface, may not care as overly much about coherence in its own timeline like Zelda fans do, but who knows if this sequel could either be going full circle with the entire timeline, or we could (finally?) be dealing with a game where we manage to break the haunting curse of Demise.

  16. I haven't read up on analyses about this yet, so sorry if I state the obvious, but I think the vials Link's wearing could be the titular Tears of the Kingdom, as a previous trailer, part of which you showed towards the end of this, shows a puddle being "rewound" back into a drop form, aka tear. I also think the title is a play on words, as the kingdom has literally been torn up out of the ground.
