The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Blue Sky Linking

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the first Zelda game I’ve played in quite some time, so let’s dive back into a franchise I used to adore, and see what Link & Zelda have been getting up to…

  1. I would love to watch a Many A True Nerd LP of Tears of the Kingdom. My own playthrough has been a joy, I'd love those mirror neurons in my brain to fire seeing Jon experience it,

  2. I would LOVE to see you play this game to the end. Its open nature and the sheer amount of stuff you can do, and the massive amount of ways you can solve (and make) problems is absurd. And watching you in particular lets play this would be a treat (-1 Perception anyone?)

  3. Can I have its shield? Obviously not he says, stepping over the sparkling shield on the ground. Honestly it's pretty wild to see someone play this without having played BOTW. Super interesting.

  4. I certainly wouldn't be adverse to seeing more of this from you Jon. When you got over that second gap in the first shrine…well, let's just say I don't think I've seen anyone do it like that before.
Small warning though; this is a big game. I mean a BIG game. We're talking 120+ hours to get through most of it, at least if you play the intended way. So be sure you're ready for the long haul…

  5. Jon might be the only person I’ve seen who considers Link’s personal comfort when building vehicles. Most people are just like “and this machine slaps Link in the direction he needs to go!”

  6. You aren't really going to play this before Breath of the Wild right? You know this is a direct sequel? You definitely should play BotW first, it's fantastic!

  7. I could watch Jon build contraptions in this game forever. He comes up with the most ridiculously constructed yet somehow still functional designs I've ever seen

  8. On the one hand, I would watch the hell out of a TOTK livestream featuring Jon and Claire arguing over what is and is not a solution. But on the other hand, TOTK makes so many improvements on BOTW that I kind of want Jon to play BOTW first, so he can really appreciate the differences.
