  1. 32:08 Farore is for more linked game codes.

Once you've completed the 1st game, the game world sets into the "post game" state, and spawns bunch of NPCs, that you need to give a code, from the newly created linked game save, that also spawns similar NPCs from the start. The code that is given after each back-and-forth interaction is then given to Farore.

There is a calculator for the Farore codes that you can look up if you don't want to do the NPC talk bits, but Farore wont "recognize" the code until you've advanced enough in the game. I guess it's to prevent super-cheesing the game.

These unlock stuff, like the 2-handed sword, homing bombs, 99-size seed and bomb pouch, Lv-3 sword, Lv-3 shield etc.

  2. Ooh, Asprey, speaking of Zelda-inspired indie games, you might enjoy Tunic! I just finished it recently and I've been obsessed. It's got Zelda-style art and item system, but it's more soulslike in gameplay and story.

  3. I am going to be doing a little thing as a means of setting up the future of the game. This is an idea I had.
Level 1: “Is that a Power Bracelet? Nice. I heard that in the past, it used to be a Power Glove, but I guess time can also change design.” NPC 1. I will be doing this for all dungeons.
Level 2: “Be glad that you are over here. I heard that something is wrong far east from here. Something ominous.” NPC 2
Level 3: “Interesting how much has changed from the past to the present. For example, that area in the Graveyard used to be something else.” NPC 3

  4. I remember the first time I saw Moosh. I literally fell in love. He is just too adorable. ❤️ my twin sister is a huge Ricky fan though.
Thank you for playing through OoA! My sisters favorite game from our childhood ❤️

  5. I know you likely have either heard this before, or already maybe have it planned, but if you're in the mood for something in the same vein as 2D Zeldas of this era, I cannot recommend Crusader of Centy for the Genesis enough.

  6. There's a max of 15 heart containers in a non-password game and 16 in a password game. It's a bit weird though because the game makes it look like 14 is the max until you get the 15th so a lot of people think they lost a heart container(I know I did as a kid and it was only after a replay I noticed what happened).

  7. about the animals:
in seasons you get ricky as default if yuou do nothing, moosh if you buy the flute in the shop or dimitri if you win the subrosian dance again (ofc all of this before getting ricky)
i don0t remember in ages though, but ricky was the only one remmeber you because you had his flute in seasons

  8. Ages I bought first. I love it, but man some of those puzzles stumped me as a kid. It's my favorite game, and some of the scenes in the beginning made me feel bad because the villain kept on causing trouble and gaslighting me/Link.
