The Leak That Reveals a Monster Anti-Bunker Bomb

In early May 2023, the online military community was shaken by an unusual United States Air Force post. Whiteman Air Force Base’s official Facebook page published a series of images of the highly secretive Massive Ordnance Penetrator bunker buster bomb. This weapon was developed to destroy the underground facilities of enemies of the United States.

While it is not uncommon for armed forces to post pictures of equipment and weaponry, the images are usually chosen with utmost care to prevent classified material from being shown to the world.

While this post was meant to deter Iran from expanding its underground nuclear facilities, it came at a serious cost for such a secret weapon. Although it was quickly erased, keen eyes saw the bomb´s markings detailing its weight, explosive components, and overall composition…

Dark Footage showcases the most unbelievable photos and videos from history while telling the stories behind the camera. Featuring military, space, aircraft and real-life historic events caught on tape.

  1. None of this is new news……the MOAB has been on display to the world since inception and its specs aren't secret and they go all the way back to the creation of the daisy cutters

  2. Like any quality detective I do not believe in accidents. Been a long time since I have. I would love to see how many world citizens would be down with war if they were informed. Kind if sick of the "leaders" deciding who fights, where, & why.

  3. I wonder if there will ever be a bomb as heavy as the T-12 Cloudmaker. This bunker buster used by the B-36 Peacemaker weighed 43,600 or 44,000 pounds depending on source. The T-12 was 26’10” long which is about 6 feet longer than the MOP. It is the largest conventional bomb and bunker buster of all time.

One cannot help but wonder if the USAF does have a bunker buster as large as the T-12. The MOP would be very capable and plausible deniability at the same time.
