Join me LIVE at we test the latest version of the ZIBO MOD 737. ZIBO has pushed out 7 updates this past week which address a few bugs and bring further refinement to automation, VNAV and the AFDS.
Today we’re going to test the latest version on a sector from Antalya (LTAI) in Tukey to the Capital of Jordan, Amman (OJAI) using my operator’s SOP’s and procedures.
VATSIM Jordan are hosting an event to celebrate 77 years of independence so we can expect full ATC!

I don’t often post updates about progress of the ZIBO MOD 737 but today we flew version 6.13 for X-Plane 12. This is by far one the best versions of the MOD I’ve flown to date.
The aircraft is flown 99% of the time with the Autopilot and although I’ve only flown this version once there’s a noticeable improvement in how the A/P interacts with pitch changes and the AFDS system overall. The behaviour was very realistic and reacted to my changes on the MCP smoothly and accurately (expect for V/S which was a little aggressive).
VNAV seems to be working considerable better building a proper idle path profile and able to deal with changes to the routing/speed/vertical profile. The FMC coding is much more accurate with realistic depictions of SID/STARS and glide path angles on final approach.
I need to do some more flights, but this version was the one I’ve been waiting to see since the release of X-Plane 12. Cannot wait to see continued refinements and improvements as the ZIBO MOD 737 continues to excel towards being the quintessential Desktop 737-800.

xi plane has a major problem with shadows judging from your overview view in the begging of your video, or do you have a problem in your settings? They go on and off like a switch!
For future streams, Shift+J (for Jetway) calls and releases the Jetway without any dialogue … Shift+G calls up the Ground Handling window as you showed.
What's wrong with ActiveSky? Too much turbulence? Just reduce the turbulence/shear factor in ActiveSky options.
I'm very eager to try this versions after all the great things you said, but unfortunately it seems it was exclusive to you for now, I can only download 6.12

You need to upgrade to a proper throttle quadrant and try out the Honeycomb Bravo with a working throttle lever TOGA button!

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here, but I downloaded the latest version 3.6, and I still see the old plane, not this one on this video, for example the speed knob is not pointy and instead is flat like before. What Iam I doing wrong?
Would you say that the zibo 737 is way better than the pmdg 737?
