Kinda botched the University section.. I'd prefer they cut it and write something else if they gonna do it in 10 minute like that.

Probably the most important sentence of this episode if not of the whole series.
Joel to Ellie: "Dream of sheep ranches on the moon."
This sentence says so much. Joel already connects Ellie's dreams with his.
Ellie drank from Joel's liquor and it was STILL grose. That was a callback to the DLC.
Next episode Ashley Johnson (Game Ellie) will properly get an appearance in the Ellie Flashback (Game DLC).
We met Dina in this episode. Ellie yelled at her during the meal and if I'm not mistaken, we met also Jessie in the cinema.
And it is also very conspicuous that we only see explicit violence when Ellie sees it. Otherwise, the camera is always switched to Ellie during killings and we don't see them, we only hear them. Makes it clear, at least for me, that the story is not focused on Joel but especially on Ellie. This has been going on since episode 2.
I don't know if the scene was so well executed in the game where Joel was injured. I mean they fought and Ellie did absolutely nothing for 20 seconds. She was just present and watched instead of at least using her knife.
In addition, Joel was completely skewered. The immense blood loss. Ellie has some training with first aid from her military school, but realistically there was nothing left to do.
In addition, going all the way to the horse. Bella is quite small. It would probably look relatively funny. So I'm quite happy that they found a realistic way for the series. For the game, it was entertaining. That would have been inappropriate here.
However, I also missed infected people and the bloater. Until recently, I believed that the kleptomaniac Ellie had pocketed the two grenades that fell at her feet when Tess died. So they could have killed the Bloater here. Would have been cool.
Loved the contractor jokes! The "You don't know what loss is", really bugged me. 14 year old kid with no one else, they know loss. I was struggling to remember stuff from the game, but I recognized the area Tommy was in right away. Only remembered wandering around the university area, and I think trying to start a generator.
