Bloaters are the fourth, rarest, and most dangerous stage of the infected in The Last of Us. Bloaters are incredibly strong and physically imposing infected that are covered in thick fungus that effectively acts as armor plates. As such, their skin forms large patches of scale-like tissue that glow in the dark, which form their mykotoxin pouches and engulfs their entire body. Because of this protective covering, they can withstand multiple hits from weapons such as the shotgun and hunting rifle, and even hatchets and machetes, making them extremely tough to eliminate.

Great video
I think part of what makes it amusing is the mystery and how the characters will tackle such an adversary, Great video ❤
We appreciate your dedication and consistency. God bless you.
Adam Basil, the English stunt man that played the bloater is 6 foot 5, he isn't 9 foot tall
I would argue that the shambler is more dangerous than the bloater
Wait until they encounter the ratking
Why can't zombie genre developers think of any of words besides click, bloat, spit or run when naming their zombie variations??
