I think this show is going to be great until they adapt the absolute trash writing of the second game. I’m definitely checking out when that happens.
Episode 1 felt like a full blown movie! I know the game like the back of my hand. And this was just done perfectly, I can't say anything bad about it. I was absolutely blown away. Just perfect a chefs kiss! Perfection!!
I think for the first time Ide be ok with a one season show if they wrapped it up somewhat.
But Ellie oh god she's so ugly,im sorry they should have used Arya Stark whatever her name is or just somebody you dont mind looking at for extended periods.
Ellie in the game didnt look like a bulldog chewing a wasp im sorry but her face is very jaring,its really distracting Im really struggling with how ugly she is,im sorry but she has a face made for radio.
Josh Holloway should of played Joel. His acting in the colony season 3 was perfect for Joel. I like Pedro but he feels like the same guy in every movie or show. I debated watching the show cause I love the game and was scared they would ruin it. Like ever other game or book movie. Is it great?. Not bad but doesn't feel like Joel and Ellie. The chemistry isn't there.
I like the show's first episode more than the game so far. I'm not a huge fan of some of the gameplay, mind you. Of course, I've just played Part 1 and the included Left Behind. The controls when sneaking (mostly against walls when your character always faces the opposite way) and faulty weapon accuracy are a pain, and the uninfected enemies barely flinching to a shot in the chest from a shotgun a few metres away is ridiculous. Maybe the second game solves these things, dunno yet. I just know that I also really like Joel in the show. Better character development and Troy Baker as Joel always just made me think of… well, Troy Baker. I guess I'm just not a fan of his.
One random thing that made me feel sunk into the show was the plane crash instead of the car accident. It just felt so epic and was so intense. Such awesome little changes.
Did anybody else notice that clicker on top of the building at the end of the first episode on the left on the roof?
FYI: Nico Parker is 1/4black therefore making her 3/4 white.

There's a poster in the wall that shoqs the turning times depending on where the infection starts. The kid didn't "not turn immediately" like Ellie, he was hurt in the leg which can take up to 24 hours to turn. So he was still incubating.
Literally the only reason your not fully onboard with Ellie is because she doesn't look like Ellie, admit it, her acting was PERFECT. Attitude, personality, everything. PERFECT.
The first episode was very good,i hope it stays lilke this quality wise
If they make Last of Us Part 2 tv show like The Last of Us Season 2…Please change the story make Abby more appealing and show her story first and then show Joel and Ellie's story and give Joel more time to live and spend with Ellie..and then kill him and the finale then in Season 3 make it a revenge story and tell itfrom pov of Ellie
People are over hyping this one episode
It would been cooler if Elliie looked like she did in the game
