  1. Neil is only 1/2 of the duo responsible for creating this IP, not to mention everyone else at ND. He may have been credited as lead writer, but he did not have complete freedom – Straley and others made him change a lot of ideas he had. Many ideas pushed aside for the first game were then, depsite being deemed lackluster for the first game, reused by Neil for the 2nd game, which he had more creative control over. Look at the 2nd game compared to the first and wherever you stand on the difference between those two games will tell you whether or not Neil’s involvement in the show is enough to make it worthwhile.

He originally said “It's an open and shut case, this is the greatest story that has ever been told in video games”.
The word usage of "Its an open and shut case" lends to the idea that there is no option of opinion.
    Comes across as damage control.

  3. As long as they understand the story, catch that emotion and impact like they did in the game then the show will be a success. The trailer looks interesting so far. Resident evil failed us on their end.

  4. Seeing all the positive reviews and how much love the people working on the show have for it, is really making me excited. Even if it isn’t the best show i’ve ever seen, I’m genuinely intrigued to see how the show will differ to the game. Either way, so happy we aren’t getting another uncharted and that’s for sure!

  5. I'm one of those ppl that has a hard time accepting actors being cast that look nothing like the game characters but… with this I'll just keep telling myself "trust the process" 😅🤞.
