The only criticism I have for this show, is that Joel never got to use a shotgun or flamethrower 🙁
SPOILER:
There is one scene after joel shot the soldier through the window. When he walks in to the hallway for a splitsecond you can see a Girl/Woman with a Ponytail running away from joel. You can't see her face and she is right there at the right side of the camera. At first i thought that it could be Marlene when she was there. i'm not sure. It could be a little hint to Abby. But it's a little detail noone seems to have catched. Edit: it's at 30:10 in the Episode but at second Watch it just looks like a Female Soldier running away but i'm still not sure. She is running down the Hallway and Joel didn't shoot here she gets away.
I hated that after everything in Part 2 that Ellie let Abby go, she left her family because she couldn't move passed it but then she couldn't go through with it. That makes no sense to me.
There was a moment in the episode where people have speculated that they saw Abby. One person ran away from Joel who was only shown in the shadows. I'm surprised it wasn't in this video
I haven't played the game and people who have played it said it's 1 of the best games put there but for me this show was boring, it isn't rewatchable and I'm not excited about season 2. It didn't feel like a survival horror and had no suspension or anything in it. The visuals was great but the story was bad. Most episodes introduced a character only to k!ll them off by the end. I give this show a 5/10
Andrew, just want to say that your thoughtful, brilliant insights have been among my favourite parts through the Last Of Us aftershows (alongside Greg's usual excellence of course too).
I'm sure it's super tough & hurtful to hear random negative mean jerk folk on the internet & it must feel pretty frustrating trying to filter them out. And far beyond the call of duty, you've been absolutely gracious to them with your kindness & empathy already throughout the videos.

Greg using stranger things actors as ppl who could play Joel had me dying 😂 it also lets me know that Andrew sadly has never seen stranger things which is disheartening to hear
there was sort of an easter egg pointing towards Abby though in the finale.
when Joel is going wild in the hospital at one point at a counter a figure can be seen running off with a braid (can be seen at the right of the camera for a split second) – Joel does not fire at that figure as this person is unarmed but rather shoots at another person at the counter with a rifle shooting – the next shot you can see that person way down the hall running – might have been Abby.
I wholeheartedly agree with what Andrew said about missing those clickers/bloaters scenes.
I would definitely 'pause' the video too much 🤣
They gave her the same birthing thing as they did to blade to make him the daywalker. And I loved the punisher joel scene.

It is a real giraffe named Naboo. They had it in a blue screen room. They showed that in the BTS special.

The casual but hooked fan of The Last of Us is not at all ready for Season 2. Yes players had problems with it, but the writers know that going in so I'm sure they'll have some tricks up their sleeves 🙂

One note: they eluded to how Ellie met the Fireflies. Remember, in the show Riley said she was stationed at the mall, so if she didn't radio them after a while, it's safe to assume someone would come looking
Greg is right it’s a Survival Horror Game. I’m not sure there’s a Survival Horror TV show category, since that’s more of a gaming genre based on survival and limited resources. But I agree they could have had a few more infected sequences to increase the value of Ellie’s immunity and possible cure, as it seemed there was less of an urgency for a cure if you could just walk around outside all the time without worrying about infected everywhere.
Andrew fuck the negative commenters, I can’t imagine being in your position as a youtuber and having to see a bunch of personal attacks. I’m an RN and get reviews from patients and one time I got a 1 star review and it got me down for days! You can’t please everyone and there’s always haters who can’t keep their negativity to themselves. You’re awesome, adorable and insightful. Can’t wait to see you in Season 2!
I like how Merle in the live action says "I'm the only one who understands" and she is the only actor to play as the same character both in game and in live action so yes, you would be the only one to understand.
Abby may have been in the episode. The scene with Joel with the nurses in the darkness in the right in see a nurse hidden and I think that's Abby. Hope to get Florence Pugh As Abby.
