Referring to comparing it to the game. I'm someone who hasn't played it in a while and enjoy being reminded by way of comparison so by all means keep bringing that stuff up
Hey guys, I really enjoy these breakdown video and finding the easter eggs with Heavy spoilers I actually subscribed to them because of you guys. I really do love the original elements from the show and the game itself. This was a great episode hey did a great job with the scene with David and Ellie in the cafeteria and when Joel found Ellie and called her "baby girl" I teared up i'm not ready for the finale at all. I'm going to need a lot of tissues.

About Ellie's skill level, it's not just the lack of a longer time jump, its also that the game is a game and forces you into way more intense combat situations and that its really up to the player skill. I've seen people play old ass Joel like an action star and others sneak thru every level cause they genuinely couldn't survive the encounters otherwise. I like the show's more realistic take forcing the showrunners to leave out most of the action. I would definitely be questioning how they both made it to the end of the season alive if they had to encounter even half the situations from the game. I feel like it would trivialize the seriousness of the infection and apocalypse.
Where were the other townspeople at the end?
The gameplay sections work really well for the game’s story. It’s not just going around and killing enemies just because. That’s why I think a lot of people are missing those combat sequences when watching the show after playing the game.
But unfortunately, those moments only work when you’re playing as the characters, not when you are watching them do it.

If people aren't happy with the way you guys are reacting to the show, they should probably go watch someone who hasn't played the game. Especially if they don't want to have the show compared to the game. I like you guys bringing up the game connections. That's why I watch your reactions. I watch all kinds of reactions from people who have and haven't played the game.
Visually Fred Ward would be the perfect Joel if he would be alive and younger. In Tremors he looked like almost the same.

I think the tv show had to make the decision to not include them for practical reasons more than anything.
baby girl? she is 19 years old for crying out loud. she does not look like a 14 year old child. her accent? what is that? no one arguing that she is a good actress but absolutely NOT for Allie's role. she does not look behave or talk like Ellie in the game. Do Not bring her back for season 2 😀

some people are already talking about nominations for her role and joel role. let's talk about the last part that she comes out the door after killing a grown man by stabbing him or whatever for 22 times or so in a burning building. she should be soaked in blood head to toe. instead she walks out with no teary eyes from intense smoke with a little blood and clear eyes as it walking out of a spa. and the smoke behind her was more like a smoking bar NOT a burning building. As for Joel, remember he was stabbed and almost died. but when he's walking around outside looks all rested as if he just got out of a high rise building office. healthy like he hasn't missed a meal. clean like he just took a looong shower and walked out of a shopping mall😀one last comment. the blood pattern on her when she just killed a grown man and when she comes out the door just don't match 😀
Troy has actually never ever done a live action thing before, not counting D&D stuff or making of's or behind-the-scenes or something like that. Never, and it's a shame. He was amazing in this episode.

26:10 Anyone who watched the auditioning for TLOU part 1, knows how phenomenal Troy Baker was. From the first line you get the impression that this guy owns every single scene he's playing on. Unfortunately he's one of those gems whos been underrated in Live-action projects.
I really didn't need the section with the infected. I never trusted David in the game and that's with that section in full. It wouldn't have helped at all. He's creepy the entire time.
