Most important Easter egg was when Joel does that execution on the raider. It’s a signature takedown in the game. Press triangle 😅
The cordiceps doesn't fix physical ailments per se. But it does fix brain disfunctions, as it takes over functions from the brain and controls the body directly. That would include (partial) paralysis. But not fixing deaf ears because the drums, cochlear or whatever are not fixed.

What color were Sally Ride's eyes?
Blue
One blew east and the other blew west.
The 13 yr old in me still likes that joke.
You guys are way too late to your break downs anymore. What happened?
Believe me, that Jackson is better than Cuba🤣
I know Joel has to live but this episode still had me worried 😟
Not sure what to think of Joel in this episode. I love that they’re adding more to his character but it’s also a big change from the stoic Joel from the game.
Any hot list that doesn’t include JTT is wrong.
That's a long reach for the rabbit imagery. Sometimes a dead pair of rabbits is just sustenance.
Wind River is an awesome movie. Renner and Olsen did an amazing job in that movie. That movie should be more popular than it is.
YES
nahhhh aint no way youre promoting communism😂😂😂😂😂
Anyone think marlin sounds like rains fall from rdr2?
Both Natives were on Northern Exposure.
Entering in communism, i think that people that read about it and study it know what communism is, but also know that its impossible to exist in countrys, a contry is way to large to work, you can have a town with max 2000 people and there it can work, but outside that, it is extremely impossible to work, karl marx ideias lead to failior and death.
Who covers the song at the end? I can’t find that version of it
Let's hope they use the bank. They should keep their extra electrical transformers safe in the bank. Those can't be easy to replace.
menstruation is a reality for all women
in 1999 buffy series, pedro pascal said "im lost and ive got a map". funnily this was mentioned in this episode too. wonder if that was an inside joke. hahahaa
Its Santaolalla (san-ta-oh-la-yah)
#4 was a stretch..
It's been 20 years since the outbreak.. but I think the communism thing was to make highlight of Tommy's possible conservative past fighting for America..
Probably i read into that too much but thats how i felt while watching that scene.
Fun fact Jackson Hole doesnt have a mall. The closest mall is in Idaho Falls, Idaho about an hour and a half away. So I can see why the mom didnt want to take to the mall. Many familes do weekend excursions to Idaho Falls.
you didnt mention how joel's dream war to have sheeps, just like how ellie did in part 2 ranch house with dina
I love how you mentioned all the emotional stuffs that most people couldn't caught. Giving you my very rare thumbs up cause I ady subscribed! See you on the rest of the episodes!
Remember, communism only seems good on paper and in fictional tv shows 👍🏻
“You deserve a choice,” – Joel saying something highly relevant later
A reminder that you should read One Piece (manga).
I’m from Salt Lake City this dope
so did joel die?
Is Rolo not Rob? haha
Hey friend! Little pro tip: in Santaolalla the double L is pronounced like a J or a Y 😊
This is the best episode yet in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure Joel is the combat vet but I could be wrong
You're stretching with a few of these
Hopfully they don’t use the story from the second game
I used to go to school in that Castle-looking building. It's called Heritage Hall and is located on the SAIT campus in Calgary. I once shot a short film in that building myself. 🙂
THEY SHOT THIS IN MY UNIVERSITY, SO TRIPPY TO WATCH
I really feel like the dog not attacking Ellie can be explained by Maria's group just bluffing and lying about the dog being able to sniff out cordyceps.
Considering how divisive the second game was, I’m curious if the ratings will reflect that. If a decent chunk will simply drop off when season 2 comes out. Especially if
thatpart stays in between Ellie, Abby, and Joel.Love how Joel's dreams of him failing over and over again resembles me playing the game and always dying
Both Casey Bloys and Craig Mazin have stated in different ways that there’s no real way for the whole of Part II to fit in one season of TV (I agree), but what will be the most dramatically satisfying way to break it up?
no giraffe scene 🙁
Fun note: I’m pretty sure the horse in the last scene is cgi… and literally doesn’t move during the entire pan away.
Just me or did Joel’s accent turn extra “Texan” in this episode? I never noticed it before this one. Makes me wonder about the order they filmed these episodes in and if he’ll have it from now on…
These writers are genius
I'm betting all those people who escaped or were killed by communist would tend to disagree with communism… knowing damn what communism is!
Please don't sugar coat a turd, it's unbecoming.
