The Last of us returns with the second episode of the premier season. Joel, Elle and Tess are off into the wasteland of a ruined post-apocalyptic Boston. And they will have to contend with hoards of fungus zombies, deadly clickers and their echolocation, and even the stanky water of a flooded hotel. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey star in the incredibly faithful adaptation of the PlayStation classic. This week we get a look at the reason why this show is so expensive. From fearsome monsters to deadly scavengers, there is nowhere to hide when the fungus is among us.

Join Max Lichtig as he breaks down the latest episode and gives you all the biggest details, easter eggs, and things you missed. From the infected that terrify our cast, to the flashback opening, there is a lot to discuss and a lot more to dissect. We even get an early hint at a few more enemies from the game series with an offhand comment from Elle. And how about the potential savior of humanity and the secret she hold inside her blood. The hit HBO series is already off to an incredible start, and it’s only going to heat up. Join us at Screen Rant for all your Last Of Us needs. 1. I liked the episode but that “kiss” at the end was weird. Like I was expecting them to not even attack her because she was already infected or at least they all swarm her and you know, actually bite her but other than that it was a good episode

  2. They won't add bloaters I don't think because they said they won't have the fungus shoot spores because gas masks aren't fun so it will probably be some tendril covered Zombie that can send them out and grab you and wrap you up or something

  3. This show was filmed primarily in the city I live in and I had the pleasure of working on the production for several months. I’m so stoked to see that it all came together so well. Arriving on set and seeing the scale of it all every day just blew my mind. I was like a kid in a candy store.

  4. 💯Nice video and thank you for breaking it down!! Even with the current dip, I'm still glad I can smile back at my portfolio of $66,700 made from my weekly trade within a short period🙏.

  5. Joel feels like the Mandalorian.

Ellie feels like a GOT character doing an american accent.

Every other character, even somewhat faithful adaptations, feels tacked on. Just there to eat up runtime.

Don't get me wrong, it's not "bad" but certainly not good. Something I might finish if I run out of other things to watch. You know?

It's a toss up between that and replaying the first game.

  6. I didn’t mind the changes made. I actually find it very interesting that they’re all hive mind connected via their bodies. I actually like the change of the mouth tendrils too.
