  1. There were actually hints in the first 15-20 minutes about how the outbreak started! The hints are below the cut.

Notice how Joel, Tommy and Sarah kept avoiding eating foods with flour? Pancakes, biscuits, cookies, and cakes were all avoided. But we saw the neighbor feeding biscuits to the old lady. The cordyceps probably spread through contaminated flour.

  2. After the initial outbreak you had to get bitten or cut so it could get into your bloodstream (only way in the tv series because they did away with the spores). But it started with fungal contaminated crops that they made flour products of. They didn't get infected by sheer dumb luck that day. No pancake mix, didn't take the biscuits from the Adlers, didn't eat the crappy raisin cookies, Joel forgot to bring home a cake. Sheer. Dumb. Luck.

  3. People who love the first game and didnt like the second is always the same. Its a sign emotional immaturity. Such a shame some people fail to experience what a masterpiece the second game is

  4. I personally think that the second game is amazing. I don't think it's perfect whatsoever, and I definitely have problems with it, but overall, it's one of the most insane and unique games I've ever played, and I'd still give it a solid 9/10. The first game for me will always be a 10/10 masterpiece

  5. TLOU2 was a masterpiece! It is really really strange to me that people didn't, I still don't get it.It's funny because everyone I have had a conversation with every point they made in their favor I changed their minds with my points after.

  6. I found Sarah’s actor did a better “Ellie” than “Ellie’s” actor so far but I’m keeping an open mind with Bella. Obviously she LOOKS so different as far as facial structure and features that it’s difficult and you can tell she didn’t grow up speaking American English but she’s clearly a great actress so I’m hoping for the best!

  7. As a extremely huge Last of Us fan who absolutely loves both games Part 1 and 2 loved every moment of the pilot there is some changes made but at least they stick as most to the game material as possible which is great.

  8. Hate to be that guy, but….

Sara's teacher says, "Homework due tomorrow after class." But when Tommy calls, he says. "It's Friday. If you don't get me out, I'll be here all weekend."

A little anachronism in an otherwise amazing episode.
