  1. this episode is what Tales should have done. take a character from the main show and tell us about them. its wasnt about the zombies/clickers it was about the people. emmys for them all

  2. If this were a standalone, I don't think I'd follow it through to the end. For me, if you just take the Bill & Frank part, it wouldn't hold my interest. As a part of the show as it is presently, I feel like 8-12 minutes less of Bill & Frank would convey to me everything the extra minutes conveyed. And I'd much rather see Joel & Ellie with a single extra bonding moment, or a threat… But they need a break. If the showrunners wanted to give the history of Bill & Frank, they had to do it here, since this is where our main characters were going. I won't call it bad. But it's not what I was looking for. (I don't do RomComs, I seldom do SitComs, I do Drama if it's done well, I do suspense, if it's done well. I do horror, if it's not gore schlock, I do romance, I do a lot of genres. But this as soon as we went to Bill, it was on a timer in my mind as a stand alone, but unless it's dreadful I give it 20 minutes to be of interest. It was of interest, but I doubt I'm going to watch this episode again in the next 2 years. (although I am checking reactions, getting other people's takes, and I've picked up a point here and there that my initial response didn't include.)

  3. To Para-phrase someone's quote : " Love in the Time of Cordyceps " .. I found your channel during the Walking Dead Finale.. and I was really interested in your reactions to this series. It was awesome, you are awesome. keep rockin' the reactions Katie ! subbed ! If the actors for Bill and Frank don't win awards for this.. I'd be personally offended.

  4. The way they adapted bill and Frank to TV compared to what their story is in the video game is so beautiful and I’m so glad they’ve done it that way

  5. 'Paying attention, is how we show love…' During the last dinner scene not only did Bill make the same exact meal and poured the same wine; he payed attention. Every movement, from how he walked into the room and how he placed the dinner plate on the table was identical to their first meal. This time, he sat next to the man he loved instead of at the end of the table.

  6. Honestly never trust your government in an emergency situation. To then you are a disposable number and a drain on resources. Learn how to protect yourself, your tribe, and what’s yours. Best thing to do is to try to avoid being caught in martial law altogether.

  7. This was a hard one! Such great television ever! Both of those actors are freaking amazing!! Talk about shot thru the heart! Jesus, I cried so much I felt like I was watching This Is Us…..Bill was a true survivalist, ready for anything & everything. I was so impressed with the way he set up his traps & those flame-throwers, holy shit! The thing is, the actor playing Frank, Murray Bartlett is a great singer & pianist! So funny and so touching…. think Frank developed MS. Now I need some wine! Okay, you should ALWAYS assume that whatever episode is going to be super awesome but super sad. Just have Kleenex next to you at all times lol

  8. Youtube recommends many reactors in my YT homepage and search, but never this channel, for whatever reason(s). However, compilation reaction channels like J2O often highlight snippets of Katie's fantastic witty quips, lovely accent, and cool hair. J2O has led me here. These mix reaction channels may receive scorn from og reactors, but they certainly help the general audience discover talents, who otherwise would've been buried in the algo.

  9. Fantastic adaptation, and what a beautiful fucking episode. Like, seriously. I've mentioned it before, but this episode was a huge argument for the potential of TLOU as a major franchise spawning beyond Joel and Ellie. Yes, they bookended the episode, but following Bill and Frank's relationship from start to bittersweet ending made you forget whose show you were watching! Lol

Looking at what they did here, I'm really sad that this isn't the version of Bill and Frank's story we get in the game. What's in the game is great, and I love Ellie and Bill's interactions, but this story here, is just beautiful, and it'd have been awesome if we got a little bit of this in the PS5 Remake. Some extra extra DLC like Left Behind, but focusing on Bill and Frank. Maybe it can still end like it does in the game, with Frank leaving Bill, but, man, this is definitely a moment where I can safely say that the show did a better job with this portion of the story than the game (but the gameplay in Bill's Town was fantastic, so there's that lol).

I love this show. I love this adaptation, and this reaction was delightful! I came across it randomly, so I am now happily subscribed and looking forward to seeing your reactions of every episode! Thank you so much for sharing!
