Also you should try neon genesis evangelion if you like the shows you mentioned. It's a classic and has probably one of the most iconic anime openings , plus it also fucks with your brain real good and gives you existential crisis.

We literally had curfews, the president declared we were in a "war" and all that started with high schoolers doing massive evasion. It even scalated to be the biggest protest in our history with 1.2 million people lol So it's not so crazy to think about, because it literally happened in front of my eyes
