When I first read Marvel Zombies comics as a young person, I wondered why Blade was missing. I thought maybe he was dead or had been eaten since everyone else turned into zombies. For years, I debated whether Blade was alive or dead. I'm relieved that Marvel has confirmed he was a secret character and has plans for him in the future.
