  1. The fanbase, reporters, and other people know Josh McClown is the problem. If DC4 had a chance to change the play at line of scrimage, DC4 would still have a job and might have been in the playoffs. Josh McClown is not a leader of men or head coaches. Josh should resign before the second quarterback chased off has a better season than the Raiders. Josh's ego and track record as head coach is trash. He blows up when the quarterback does the opposite of what play is being called. For example, DC4 changed a play and Josh and Dc4 got into it at the sideline. I understand every head coach and defensive coordinator wants "thier players". A great head coach finds ways to use the talent on the team and win games. All I hear are excuses, whining, and complaining.

  2. We are so FU#$&*%!!!! McDaniels and Ziegler have no clue how to run a team OR what we are going to do at QB and we are about to lose Adams(the best wide receiver we have had since T.Brown) because of it!! They better make a huge move at QB because we already look like idiots for cutting Carr banking on getting Brady’s old a$$! I am so pissed about what’s NOT happening right now!!!

  4. This is NOT a good or talented team. Sorry. It finished 28th in defense. Only held opposing teams to ONE field goal when 1st and goal to go and the one time they did was due to a penalty on the offense. The D Coordinator sucks. He sucked in his previous 2 years at NY. It is no coincidence that NY's defense, with the same personnel but a new good D coordinator was vastly improved.

The Raiders HAD their franchise QB. Why is it that NO ONE focuses on the indisputable fact DC has an uncanny ability to win close games. He's engineered 34 THIRTY FOUR, game winning drives, including 4 last year. The only QB even close is Matt Stafford. It was Carr's audibles, changing McDumbass's plays that tied the Seattle game, throwing it into overtime where in OT Jacobs turned out the lights with a magnificent 86 yard TD run. Where the Raiders should have been celebrating and Carr getting heaps of praise by his coach, McDumbass chewed Carr out for changing the plays. The Raiders would have lost that game if Carr didn't do what he did.

In the 2021 season Carr engineered 7 game winning drives of the 10 victories the Raiders had, putting the Raiders in the playoffs, and in those 7 victories Waller was injured. Carr did it with ONE reliable receiver, Renfro.

Compare ANY QB's corresponding years to Carr's 9 and he beats them all, ALL, in game winning drives. He even beats the new crop too, Mahomes, Herbert, Lamar Jackson, DeShaun Watson, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, etc. Carr is by far the best and yet the "CLUTCH" stat does not figure into QB ratings. Why?

And you talk about Stroud's accuracy and his stats. Pushaw! How about these stats:
    659 att, 454 comp, 68.9% comp, 5,083 yards, 50 TDs and only 8 Ints.
    That was Carr's senior year.

    Compare to Stroud's stats
    389 stats, 258 comp, 66.3%, 3,688 yards, 41 TDs and 6 Ints

Carr is also 6'3" and also weighed 220

Carr slaughters Stroud's stats and Stroud is the best of the QB talent out there this year? Don't make me laugh! Carr was picked by the Raiders in the 2nd round. Stroud, because there really aren't any better QBs, is likely to go no. 1 overall pick and he isn't worth it. You are NOT going to find a franchise QB in this crop, especially with McDumbass as the head coach.

One more thing. Pick any Hall of Fame or even future HOF QB like Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, etc. and everyone of them had the luxury of being developed by a great coach who mentored them for years starting with them as rookies. The vast majority of those coaches are Hall of Fame coaches or future HOF coaches. Carr NEVER had that with the monumental incompetence of Mark Dufus with the football IQ and management acumen of a retarded cockroach imposing 6 head coaches on Carr in 9 years. Carr FINALLY GOT his mentor in Gruden and we all know what happened there.

If the Raiders had the NY Jets defense which finished 4th instead of the 28th the Raiders had, they would not have blown four double digit leads going into the second half and would have beaten, for example, the Chiefs in Arrowhead, where as it is they lost by 1 point.

They had 5 other games they lost needing one score to win. With a great D and Carr left with the freedom and trust that Gruden put in him, we are looking at 7 more victories, at the least, and a deep run in the playoffs, a record of 13-4 and with one victory over the Chiefs being one of those victories, the Raiders end up, at the least, tied with the Chiefs for the AFC West title. We wouldn't be looking at them getting rid of Carr.

I'm glad Carr is out because now maybe he can get on a team like the NY Jets where the only piece they are missing is a good QB.

As for the Raiders, this is a pathetic organization suffering from a cancerous rot starting with Mark Dufuss all the way down and through the coaching staff. No QB can save this pitiful team. Unfortunately, the only hope for Raider faithful is tied to the death of Al Davis's wife, Carol. Carol is in her early 90s. When she passes Mark will have to sell the Raiders to pay his inheritance tax and then, finally, an owner will bring a winning culture to the team, instead of an incompetent owner completely over his head more concerned with virtue signally than winning.

  5. I want NOTHING to do with Jimmy G. I’d resign Stidham and see what QB falls to us at 7. If all QBs are gone at 7, trade back and build more draft capital. Address Def and OL with those picks. JMD was tanking once he knew Carr was not his franchise QB.

  6. Agree 100% trading for, and signing Rodgers would be a disaster. Garappolo isn't a good fit either. Brissett would make a good "bridge" and would not be expensive. But so could Stidham. Most all FA money, and many draft picks should be on defense, where the team is hollow. You didn't mention DT, but that's a major need.

Levis does look like an NFL QB, however, he can lock on receivers, and hesitate at times, which could be deadly in the NFL. You can see this even in your clips of him, if you watch with a really keen eye. But he has a great arm, and has real potential. Stroud has all the tools, however at OSU he played behind a line that gave him a ton of protection, and he was throwing to the best receiver corps in the NCAA, who were often open. His stats of no pressure/pressure drop dramatically, which is something scouts look for. The play you show at 1:55 is one of the only plays I could find film on him (or remember) where he looked like a pro QB under pressure. So taking him will be a risk. A QB like Hooker or McKee, or O'Connell of Purdue could be a good snag if they drop enough.

Unlike most fans, I have a lot of trust in Ziegler. He seems to have his head on to me. JMD I'm not so sure on, the jury is out still. I mostly worry Mark Davis will make snap decisions forcing Ziegler to make trades or signings that don't benefit the team much at all, just to fill seats. I don't get your "blatant stupidity" in your title, at all.

I think Ziegler will spend some in FA. As the team is flush with cash. But the only reason to blow it all in one year is if you think the team is on the verge of a championship (Rams in 2020, Tampa when they signed Brady, etc.) or else you're doing what the Eagles did when they paid all that money for the "dream team".

  7. Get Jimmy G. and let Stidham back him up. Jimmy is not the most durable, but he wins and Stidham could take it from there. In the draft prioritize defense. In the second or third if available get Hendon Hooker to sit for the year. Use the rest of the picks on defense on and o line.
