THE LAND OF THE DEAD Neural Regeneration Explored | How the Zombies At Least Got To Cave Man Status

The Land of the Dead was an interesting movie for really one reason. It didn’t do much different in how zombies would attack and it was a struggle for survival and blah blah blah. What really made it interesting, was how the brain appeared to recover post infection give enough time. Because of this, the zombies were able to communicate with one another with one leader known as big daddy, as well as resist the influence of the infection to a degree. In todays episode, we will discuss how this happened, what was going on with their neurology and ultimately what may be the outcome of this change!

I feel like plenty of people live without the use of their brain daily so they’re safe at least!: 00:00
I mean, these people really thought the river would save them, why not find an island? Like for real though: 1:24
Bro I swear my whole Dawn of the Dead Video was undone by a freaking 1 second clip in the post credits lol: 2:05
Honestly, A bunch of zombies compared to what I see daily on the internet is preferable: 17:23
Thanks for watching guys! Remember to check your escape routes and island safety levels!: 35:11

  1. When I was at college studying animal behaviour and husbandry I had biology classes with a strange guy who did an entire project for one of our assignments about cell division, for some reason he went on a twenty minute tangent about how he early stages of pregnancy and having cancer are comparable with eachother. He ended up failing the Biology module

  3. I think if we're going to establish some canon chronological timeline we should probably go off the original dawn of the dead, rather than the remake, as that remake wasn't made by George A Romero and therefore propbably wasn't developed and written with the same thought process of zombification in mind.

  4. I don't want to brag, but I think in zombie apocalypse survival situation my chances to survive as a slightly overweight low-activity gamer with 20 years of zombie killing experience are far, far superior to any zombie movie character, like, ever.

  5. Ok I first off wanna say thank you Roanoke for your videos and the time and energy you put into them, I have a few questions about the movie like first… How is there even a higher class and a lower class anymore in this movies universe since the dead started walking and society collapsed already? Why is money valuable since there’s no one to give it to except for the rich people in the tower? How come Koffman isn’t more aware of the zombie threat and taking it more serious instead of acting like it’s nothing? Why is there not good fencing around the city (even though it would take a long time to install and be impossible to put up because of the zombies) and lastly Why didn’t Riley just kill Big Daddy the zombie and his horde?

  6. The fact that Big Daddy (gas station zombie, yes that's his name) opens the door and walks over to the pump like a normal person does really show that the zombies could be rehabilitated.

  7. I fuckin love this movie. Masterpiece of zombie horror.

Not too serious and just a really fun ride with the army of the dead.

And I thought the evolution if you will, was really interesting. Made you think that, the zombies are a new type of creature of their own. Not even human anymore, just look and behave like humans in a way.

I think this film was a what if the zombies started to become sentient.

It was Romero’s last best zombie masterpiece.

Rest in Peace, George. Wish I met you before.
