Adding the entire civilization of elusia or whatever it was called doesnt really add anything to the argument because it was a bunch of unnamed side charecters
Normally, I'd be there with the fanbase that, too many false death flags wave around in One Piece, but I can't agree with the Kuma take. Technically, he's been dead since the war at Marineford. He only protected the thousand sunny because he was programmed to and until Egghead he acted like the machine he turned into. Couple that with his life of hardship, and we have a character like Robin who has spent more than half their life suffering. Yes, it would've been a great sacrifice, but it wouldn't give anything that him surviving wouldn't. Either way, Bonnie is likely to side with the strawhats. Either way, Stella would be dead. However, with him surviving, we get to see one of the rare instances where not only do does a parent get to stay with their child but doing so in spite of the government. People often forget that we don't always get to see that. Senior Pink, half the strawhats, Marco, Law, and recently Vivi all lost their loved ones and will never get them back. Meanwhile, the list of people who reunited with their relatives alive is just Rebecca and her dad, Viola, and Riku, and that's about it.
Guys if you want to know who actually got killed in one piece lemme tell you. So there’s this one character called (Baron Omatsuri) I think. And that guy was luffys biggest opposition so luffy toke it to his own hands and actually killed him 200 pumped in the face.
The delay in expectations from the toxic parts of the JJK and One Piece fandom is crazy. Everyone flips their shit over the Shibuya Incident (which really only had one major death on the hero's side), then they cry for tragedy as the story manages to end on a happy/hopeful note. One Piece fans want Kuma to die AFTER he's avoided the tragedy expected of his story! The tragedy would be dying alone as a slave, just like a kid but without even the will to do anything about it. Now they want him to die after he escaped that fate? Insane take, his story is tragic but won't end that way.
what if characters not dying is not Oda's doing but Luffy's Devil fruit ability. There are a lot of characters that have died when luffy is not around.
I'm sort of at a point at which Im not really completely sure anyone can die for real in op and well find out ace, wb, even Roger are all fine and chilling at laugh tale
Idk bout the rest but I’d much rather see kuma join forces with dragon and get revenge. He’s been through not a lifetime but generations of suffering. And with him being the last of his kind it would be heartless for him not to get true justice on not only behalf of himself but his daughter / family.
I'm pretty sure this complaint is just coming from those who haven't watched or read the whole story. Aka anyone whose experience is from a synopsis of one piece
Sounds like the fan base is whining like a bunch of inuyasha fans.
One strawhat did already die… yohohoho

Well I’m glad that these people aren’t writing one piece

It would be nothing to fix his mechanic body and give him his emotions/memories back🤷🏽♂️
Law will save Luffy during the final battle by sacrificing himself

Rip my goat luffy if they do kill of a Straw hat
Come on guys! don't you know? the Dreams of pirates never dies!
It's not an issue if you don't kill characters. It becomes an issue when you see a character seemingly die only for them to comeback and be just fine.
Kuma being alive after all that shit is worse than just dying.
I just think kuma deserves better
After all the shit he went through and the lenghts he went to to protect bonney . Him getting a happy ending is the least he could ask for

At least its not like JJK
