As for post game stuff once you clear an area you can clear it again to beat an watcher, which is just a beefier version of area boss. And after that you can go for infinite runs in areas (well. Infinite as long as you are alive) to get a lot of rewards for more cult building while we are waiting for content packs and/or updates.
Of course you can also try collecting all blueprints. Follower forms etc. But these are the main things.
