Interesting subject matter but I find myself increasingly unable to listen to the 'American Voice' style narration. I find it enervating and frankly, slightly ridiculous. It is to voice-over work what heavily made-up 'influencer face' is to female beauty — not an improvement.
Japan's emerging aiviation prowess? they had good ideas and some good designs. but their fastest airplane was slower than a late war P-40
shift in Japanese fighter design? How many more inline engine fighters did they build? The Ki-100 took teh Ki-61 and attached a radial engine.
the Ki-61 was not a high altitude interceptor. it wasn't optimized for high altitude at all.
looks like hien had MB 601 engine.
This appears to be artificial drama unburdened by great factuality. Thank you.
Close formation. The B-25s went to separate targets. This is BS

The DB 601 engine on the Hein was good for 37,500 ft. Anyone that says the Hein wasn't optimized for these very Hi altitudes is talking out of their backside. That's exactly why the Germans used the Me109 to counter high altitude bomber attacks !🙄
The P40 being equal or better to the Db601 Hein ? 😅
