  1. Why don't you finally decide who you want to talk about? Either you talk about Nazis (who were the political party in power) or about "Germans" ( which are by the way a group of tribes of central and northern Europe) or you talk about the Wehrmacht or the Luftwaffe which were different companies anyway. So clear up your confusion please. Me as a Deutsch man feel kind of apauled by your political ignorance – and by the way – these efforts to produce these unusual aeroplane concepts were not "crazy" but were born out of a need to prevent allied ( "Royal" Air force and US Air force terrorists to kill Deutsche civilians by hundreds of thousands and destroy houses and all kind of infrastructure and the cultural legacy which were the main reasons of their operations) I just have to remind you of the destruction of Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, my town Dortmund and another 130 more)

  2. Name of Lippisch — hmmm, Me163 and a P13 kamikaze plane. Lippisch is a sorta Jewish name and that leads me to the excellent idea that he was working under cover to come up with airplanes that would finish off Nazi pilots LOL. When you think about it the Me163 – well they built somewhere over 500 of them and manage to shot down something like 11 bomber aircraft which is pretty close to kamikaze right there. Add in a pure kamikaze aircraft and it looks like he was winning the war for the allies

  3. People today love to call WW2 era German hi-tech war machines "mad" or "crazy, last ditch attempts" at winning the war. The only thing that saved the world was Germany's lack of time to complete their experiment in heavy water, splitting the atom, rocket navigation gyros, etc. Had they had another 6 months, the war's outcome would have been much different.

  4. WW2 was not the Germans vs the Americans and Russians it was the Germans vs the Allies (the big 3 US, GB, and USSR, plus 23 other nations, then 4 former axis allies). This platform is international, you know, other people, foreigners, not just the good ol' USofA.

  5. What a visionary genius. Of course, Lippisch's designs were utilized by American aviation companies later on. No doubt about it. It's human nature to survive so I don't blame Engineer Lippisch for his work with NAZI's, so did Von Braun. Deep down, I think both were curious engineers who basically wanted to see their ideas come to life.

  7. As a German I have to say your German is definitely above average, but freaking crazy
wouldn't be translated as "ausflippig wahnsinnig" but instead more like "verdammt verrΓΌckt" wich is pronounced like "furdumt furrueckt"
