how’s it going gang? about what i said in the intro, this event really DID bring some new life to me hahah- I know there’s a ton of exploration to do still but I’m trying to space it out a bit, so we don’t start HATING it and so we have more exploration over a longer time c:

maybe if there’s a GAA this year again (or hopefully something new tbh) we can get a % on that map too!! would be super nice

i relate a lot to Kaveh in this honestly.. fun fact, before i started youtube i wanted to study for architect if my translator job didn’t go as planned!!

kaveh building will be the next video this weekend! and that honkai impact video will go on 2nd channel. about baizhu- uh.. you’ll see this weekend too I guess!

MADAM faruzan and kaveh definitely grew on me this quest, also REALLY like “awake” layla!! bob is bob. and not hat guy. also getting used to tighnari’s new voice AND adventurer cyno is still a champion (aka: i loved this event)

imma record the minigames just for fun, it’s been a while and events lately have been.. uninteresting really, just freemos

  2. still loving genshin but i can't play it much right now because of exams. i still log in every day but whenever i'm on i feel procrastinator's guilt so i can't really enjoy it. i think i'd have more fun if there weren't exams rn lol

  4. pls make videos ab the hangout events!! faruzan's was pretty cool i like her a lot, i also liked layla's but i play on jp dub i had no idea how she sounded in eng (nothing wrong with the voice its just a bit too slow for me but i get why)

  5. i’m also in a genshin slump. kinda fucked myself over and now i’m at AR56 with one fully built characters and i’m struggling to build them all plus the sumeru desert is so daunting 😭 i just find myself not logging in rather than grinding

  8. So happy to finally hear your commentary on this event! I enjoyed this event so much that I started playing every day again after 3 patches of barely playing.

    I looked forward to this event to see wanderer in his college boy era and I got that but I didn't expect he would be in his hasanabi era as well lmaooo him being a polsci major just fits him so good!!

  10. Aww you got the bad ending 😔 if you make different choices in the Dori side quest/don't do the side quest, Alhaitham talks to Kaveh at the end and it's much less depressing. They even seem to come to an understanding

  11. If you opt not to tell Kaveh about his father, Alhaitham will spawn in the same spot and there's a nice scene of him telling Kaveh instead. If you get this route, Kaveh isn't as sad and it ends on a happier note with Kaveh thanking Alhaitham before they go back to their friendly bickering lol.

  17. I don't really relate the genshin slump thing, and I've been playing since 1.0. Although I did take a "break" around when chasm came out until Cyno's release because I was playing some other stupid game or something.
    I say break with quotations because I still do the commissions for pulls but that's it(I didn't even spend my resin).

    Right now I'm still finishing up my jungle exploration and I haven't even touched the desert area yet(most of it still have single digit% exploration lmao)
    So yeah saying "I still have things to do in genshin" would be an understatement

  25. If you read Kaveh's mind when they were meeting up in the tavern, yes, Kaveh was going to buy more food to bring home. So Alhaitham was right in assuming that Kaveh will bring leftovers.

    And I don't know what triggered it but I got a different ending for the last part HAHA when I was playing, it wasn't us who told Kaveh about his dad meeting up with Sachin, but Alhaitham. Kaveh called bullshit on his reason solely on Sachin's research, and Alhaitham revealed that he mostly followed up on it because there was a mention of Kaveh's dad in his research. I didn't know about the fact that it was because of Kaveh's wish though…

  26. The Layla and Faruzan hangout are both really good and reveal a ton about their characters! I’m not fond of sleepy Layla’s voice direction in English either, so I ended up playing different paths in Japanese and Chinese and enjoyed it a lot that way.

    They refer to the Layla/“other” Layla situation as “sleepwalking,” but it is 100% DID (dissociative identity disorder) brought about by Layla’s academic stress and anxiety. You learn a lot more about them both in her hangout 🙂

  27. Hi Rednas! If you chose to lie to Kaveh, you'll find out that Alhaitham only took the commentator job for Kaveh's sake because he wants to investigate Kaveh's father's death. That's also why he's been leaving his notes for Kaveh to read. Kaveh would also find out the truth through Alhaitham, but Al would make it so he doesn't get depressed by it.

    Imo when kaveh won the draw from faruzan being so "good for you!" And alhaithams little look hints at faruzan actually let him win the points like she always intended on
    And with kaveh grabbing faruzans device i think he did it so it not only wouldn't hurt anyone but so he could also get it back to her lol
    This has to be one of my favorite events good to see all the new 4 stars having so much screen time lol

  43. Genshin has so many problems and developers, apparently, not going to fix them for some reason. It especially frustrating, because they actually manage to do this on Starrail, but here all remaining the same. And situation with Dehya was final cherry on top for me, so i quite for week or two. Still have my fun with event yesterday, mostly because mini-games and playing coop with friends, but darn, if developers lost they interest for game, why we should still care?
    Actually looking forward for new region, but globally, it will remain same imo. Like stuff you doing and hope you will find some interesting games to play here more often. Cheers mate, you will succeed!
