  1. He's eating your melons?πŸ€” Well I would suspect (but could be totally off base here) he's heterosexual? but hey that's just me! And melons! πŸ˜˜πŸ˜ŽπŸ€¦β€β™‚

  2. I feel like you could use just one more furnace, and have an extractor or 2 outside getting only stone, so you wouldn't have to make as many trips out for stone. Love seeing the walls go up, Mike really is very helpful with the logs, now if the melon glitch just gets fixed soon it will be all good! There's always so much to get accomplished, and the day just isn't long enough! Enjoyed the fun, thanks for sharing.

  3. It's always a good idea to take a bit of a break from the usual routine to go do something a bit different. Spending time just collecting stone is one example. You're only really limited by the storage space you have and the patience/time you've got to do it in. Once you've got the stone grinder up and going, it's surprising just how quick you can get through a crate/chest full of stone. Mind you, the collecting part doesn't take much doing. It's the travelling to and from that bites into your time. Having the truck helps a bit, but you still have to travel, 'cross country', to get to the stone fields, as I call them, in order to mine the stone. Being able to transfer chests and crates helps a lot, but it still takes a little while to get everything done. Still, it's all part and parcel of the game. Keeping your pickaxe nice and sharp, (pointy?), helps a lot, too. We wouldn't want it breaking part of the way through mining, after all.

I suspect you're probably not going to have to make any plastic of your own at all in this particular game. The vambies have more than adequately supplied you with all you'll need. Which is kind of nice of them! Going up and down stairs pushing a cart is a lot easier than you think it would be. It does sometimes have the tendency to block your vision, though, so you can, if you're not too careful, find yourself going over the edge of your build and risk injury. Being in a hurry to get something done doesn't help, either. Having Mike cut down and collect logs does indeed help a lot in this game. Now, if only we could get him to collect stone. πŸ€” That would free up some time. Collecting ore would be nice, too. It'd give us more time to crack on with the important task of building and getting things done. I've noticed that falling down one floor doesn't generally do any damage, with the risk increasing as the number of floors increase. You can get away with two, sometimes, but even that's not all that advisable. You generally only suffer a broken leg, but it does depend on your health level at the time. I barely survived, once, falling down from 6 floors up and did get a broken leg, either! Maybe the ground where I landed was a bit soft!

I've noticed that vambie troupes don't tend to bother you if they're passing by. It's only if your base is in their path that they tend to react. I think they're kind of designed more as an ambush than purposely going out of their way to seek you out. So, if you happen to be out, away from your base, chopping down trees or collecting stone, for example, and they just happen to be walking in that direction, then they'll attack. Otherwise, they just idly walk on by without a care in the world.
