  1. Ratking? Or even that an infected can, ''drop dead', at any moment(regardless of type, strength, or exposure length), explaining the 'wall bodies' you find?

Also i'm pretty sure the soldier died of blood loss before anything could be determined about amputating limbs being a viable option.

*there is a quick shot of 2 guys(in ep. 1) that have missing limbs as they gawk at the streets. However it is still up in the air if this amputation is a result from War injuries, or from a successful attempt of infection prevention.(my guess is the former)

  2. First form Runners then to stalkers then to clickers then older infected either half mutated become shamblers or full blown bloaters and finally the rat king which is considered patient zero for all cities which declared a ground zero.

  3. Well from my experience with growing mushrooms. The best thing the World could do is arm everyone with super soakers filled with liquid that contains Trichoderma. It's killed plenty of my grows.

  4. How is it that I’m only 2 minutes in and I can tell that the writer of this script isn’t a fan of the games? It’s not 23 years after patient 0 in the games, it’s 20 years later. It straight up says “20 years later” in the game.🤔

  5. Crops infected with fungus. Then human eats the crops. No cooking?
    Cooking will kill the fungus.
Going to school is still important so that we will know what is what.
Unless you snort the crop raw you will never get infected

  6. What they dont mention is that the fungis that infects ants has a very low infection rate. If it did, alot of the ant population would be gone. So the premis for this series and game is a bit off.

  7. Someone might’ve already said, but I believe the only reason cordyceps hasn’t infected humans is because it thrives in cold environments like incest bodies. If global warming forced the cordyceps to adapt or just an extremely fortunate mutation occurred, it could probably survive and infect a human body. Btw I haven’t played the games, so feel free if you think any of this is wrong.

  8. The games first begin with the outbreak in 2013, skipping to 2033. The first game ends in 2034, with (that other game) taking place in 2038.

The show starts in 2003 and skips to 2023. I'm actually curious why they chose to set the show 10 years earlier, but it does make Sarah's question about it being terrorists carry more weight, considering 9/11 occurred just two years before.

  9. This version of zombie is more terrifying than anything the zombie genre has put out thus far. More than even TWD. most zombie TV shows and movies do not explain how. This one does, and is a currently known form of fungus. It makes me wonder what, as our ice melts due to your warming climate, kind of virus's or fungi have been laying dormant for tens of thousands of years…another thing zombie movies and shows do not explain is how fast society falls. We are just supposed to believe it. This one does…it is in our food supply, just like the fungus that is theorized to explain the salem witch trials. With how food is internationally shipped, exported and imported, it does provide an explanation as to why it spread so quickly and also why our governments were so ill equipped to handle it. Most people were infected via food before the problem was even a known problem. Like I said…absolutely terrifying.
