  1. So, crime that didn’t physically hurt anyone, he made sure no one but him would face any consequences and he managed to outsmart Johnny Law. Bloody legend. Oh, and he has probably managed to launder a healthy amount of his gains through these online courses.

  2. Be curious how perfect these bills were, there are supposed to be several checks that the Fed Reserve banks use to catch a lot of the fake bills and sort them out of circulation, that they don't usually announce to the world at large.

  3. I can't believe I haven't heard this story. This is one of those "I am not even mad, that's amazing " stories. And I was surprised at how recent. But despite the complex steps he took for secrecy, did he not factor in American extradition or was that conducted more in a grey area?

  4. US "paper" money is printed on CLOTH Unlike traditional paper made of wood pulp, the "paper" used for currency is made of 75 percent cotton and 25 percent linen. BEP specifications require this blended paper to have special red and blue fibers woven throughout. therefore CLOTH.

This is also why when you forget to take it our of your pockets in the laundry it does not just deteriorate into INKLESS sludge.

  5. What is it with guys named 'Frank' There's this guy who's arguably one of the most brilliant counterfeiters ever. Then there's Frank Abagnale who posed as a commercial airline pilot and flew around the world free for years while forging checks. He got caught eventually and eventually ended up working for the FBI.

  6. How did he figure out the ink, and the printing plates? None of his history provides experience in detailed jewelry metal work (the plates), or artistic understanding of painting/ printing (the ink). My brother was a printer for over 25 years mainly on German presses. You don’t just buy one and go to printing. Theirs settings you have to work out (plate pressure, ink application to fit the receiving surface, etc), that takes time and not to mention experience on that particular equipment. Not to mention they do breakdown and require a lot of maintenance. I’m going with the police on this one, he had accomplices from the printing press and jewelry business.

  7. You really need a catch phrase inserted at the conclusion of your story, such as " Frank is now off into the shadows, with a possible thirteen million left untapped buried in a ditch somewhere.” I concede; Lacks a tad bit of drama or flavor so to speak. Thanks for the video !! Keep up the good work.

  8. Good for him. It's probably not good how much on his side I am in this, but seriously, good – for – him. This should have a movie made about it. It would be so entertaining. No one would believe it was true.

  9. I was selling at a festival in Wisconsin a dozen years ago.. and there I met a guy selling peanuts, an American fair staple. Over a few events we became friends (ish). But he told me of one of his many scams, this one involving a trip to Mexico in a U-Haul, buying a color xerox machine with a money order he had tampered with to make its value 300,000 instead of $3… So why goto Mexico for the Xerox machine, well it’s about the software. At the time if you bought that Xerox in America its software would distort money scans and prints, but the same machine in Mexico didn’t have the software for this. So Mexican machines would do a perfect color print of US bills.. and he moved the machine “swiftly” back to Chicago and cranked up the presses.

  10. Well considering how the federal reserve is privately owned paying a 6% dividend and it literally creates money out of thin air and doesn’t even need positive equity I’d say the federal reserve printing federal reserve I owe yous is the largest counterfeiter on the planet that and Wall Street banks. But Wall Street banks own the federal reserve.
