  1. James Woods sits in the charred remains of what was once his Pacific Palisades mansion, cradling the ashes of his luxury leather recliner. “It’s so hard,” he sobs, “losing everything at once.” Somewhere in Gaza, an entire family huddles under the rubble of what was once their home. No tears left to cry.

“Governor Newsom failed me!” James rages. “How can a leader allow such devastation? It tests your soul!” Wasn’t it you, James, who proudly declared, “No compromise, no ceasefire, and no forgiveness” as bombs lit up Gaza like your hillside now lights up the LA night?

You complain about broken water pipes draining pressure from your firefighters. Palestinians would love some water pipes, James. Or electricity. Or fuel. Or medicines. You cry about alarms going off on your iPhone. Gaza doesn’t even have an internet signal to beg for help. You blame “careless winds,” but what about the deliberate bombs you cheered on?

“It feels like losing a loved one,” you whisper. How many loved ones have Palestinians lost in the firestorms you supported? Did their lives weigh less because they didn’t come with designer sprinklers and panoramic views?

So, James, when your house burns, you demand compassion, aid, and action. But when an entire people burn under siege, you call for more fuel to the fire. Do flames only deserve to be extinguished when they lick at your marble countertops?

If the fire in Gaza wasn’t in your backyard, would you still be preaching to "keep it burning"? Or does humanity only matter when your precious "little home" is on the line?

Maybe it’s time to consider that the fire you wanted to keep burning for others, is the very one you’re now begging to stop. It is the flames you yourself fanned. The fire you encouraged for others is the fire you now beg to cease.

  2. i wanted to move to California since early 90s after college. finally got a very nice job offer in San Jose around '00 but just met my future wife who was not about to head there with me after only a few months of dating. i am so glad i did not move out there as California really started to go down hill at the turn of the century. last time i visited out there was about 10 years ago in San Fran, Berkley, San Jose areas and it was awful. especially san fran and it appears it has gotten even worse. very happy to still be in my home state of NC. funny thing is the amount of Californians moving to NC. Used to mostly be Northerners and MidWesterners but now Californians are a huge % of NC transplants. these folks are trying their best to ruin my state. i wish they would stay put.

  3. From Canada, thinking of you all! This is the crap that has been going on for years, there has been no accountability and enough with the climate change, this is reality, I also saw a news article that it was arson from a blow torch that started and then the winds went up, unsure if this is true, regardless. These bureaucrats need to get their heads out of their a$@! Well said Megyn & James 🙏

  4. Megyn,
Is it My Understanding HERE, but DIDN'T!:
CONsomeoneman Out-an-Out Flatly REFUSED Trumps $170m Offer: with
"We!, California DON'T NEED the ASSISTANCE!"

This current FIRE 🔥 DISTRUCTION it now seems, solely laden on the shoulders of both Mr CONsomeoneman and CONsomeonewoman!

    In my opinion:
There's a need to conduct a California Government BUDGETARY MONEY Trail, going back 16 years!

YES, that's true he acted!: but
CONSOMEONEMAN did actually ACT at That Time!
    Unfortunately, it was HIGHLY NEGATIVE!

Gee, this reminds me of their similar associated Commrade's leading AUSTRALIA in the ALP, led by PM Albozososleezie attached to Suchon-cupped Denying Sheep!

  5. James Woods one of my favorite actors loved him in Contact. Speaks sense taking 17 million off the LAFD was criminal. The fire hydrant issue needs addressing plus the emergency water response. In a fire situation the fire planes and helicopters should be allowed to use sea water. Lots to do make people cut their brush or fine them $1,000. A community is a community and everyone has to chip in no exceptions.

  6. I cant believe the hypocracy !!!
Where is the humanity for the murder of thousands of women and children in Gaza.
It is disgusting to hear the comments of this guy with respect to Gaza. These women and children are also our neighbours.

I pray for him, his family, a speedy rebuilding

But I also pray for the women and children murdered Gaza by an evil regime that is supported by both Republicans and Democrats with weapons funded by YOUR tax dolars!!!

  8. I hope Trump remembers what Canadians are doing to help our American friends before he starts another rampage of lies about our country. Trying to turn Americans against us is ridiculous. We don’t TAKE billions of dollars from the US. We SELL our products. Trump’s words are always taken out of context, which is what he wants. We also helped our American friends and other when flights were cancelled during 9.11.

  9. He it is Who expelled the disbelievers among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought their fortresses would protect them from Allah. But the decree of Allah came upon them from where they had not expected.

  10. For individuals like the LA Fire Chief, budget cuts become a strategy to remove those who do not align with her extreme DEI agenda. Once her budget is restored, she hires individuals who fit her criteria. Californians put her in charge, and they must bear the consequences of that decision. Whether it’s poor vegetation management, inadequate preparedness, or questionable hiring practices, the rest of America should not be expected to shoulder the costs of such mismanagement and corruption.
