  3. The first three that I thought of:
Bal-Sagoth – Starfire Burning Upon The Ice-Veiled Throne Of Ultima Thule
Gamma Ray – Land Of The Free
Luca Turilli – Kings Of The Nordic Twilight (only "King" for the album title, but whatever)

I can't think of any bad ones that weren't mentioned, at least not for good albums.

  4. Hate to say it, but Love Gun came immediately to mind as a title track I do NOT like…or least not much. I know it’s a staple, but to me, there’s not much to the chord progression, and the solo always reminds me of a guitar scale exercise my instructor used to refer to as “ladders.”

  7. Doesn't seem like this one is solely focused on hard rock/metal, so…

Megadeth – "Rust in Peace…" and "Killing Is My Business…"
    Tool – "Lateralus"
    Kiss – "Psycho Circus"
The Beatles – "Please Please Me"
    Funkadelic – "Free Your Mind…"
Sly & The Family Stone – "Stand!"
Bob Dylan – " The Times They Are A-Changin' "
    The Clash – "London Calling"
    Joe Jackson – "Look Sharp!"

Those are just some of many.

Decided to leave off most progressive rock picks. Least favorites? Difficult.

  8. First favorites comes to mind. Testament : Souls of black, Savatage : Guttet Ballet, Kiss : Creatures of the night. Least favorite : Lizzy Borden : Love you to pieces (not a bad song, but easily the weakest track for me when it comes to this great album) , Mercyful Fate : Melissa (same reason as previous), Exodus : Pleasure of the flesh (just too slow start, prefer more aggressive Exodus. But it is not bad bad)

  9. Battle Hymn and Mr Universe were absolutely on my list – both exemplary songs, and Torme is so ahead of his time on Mr Universe with the soloing! 3 drop dead classics for for me are
    Scorpions – Lonesome Crow
Bernie Marsden – Look at me Now
Forefather – Ours is the Kingdom

  14. Favourite's (I'll go with five for fun):
    1. Scar Symmetry – Holographic Universe
    2. Children of Bodom – Follow the Reaper
    3. AC/DC – Let There Be Rock
    4. Iced Earth – Burnt Offerings
    5. Bolt Thrower – IVth Crusade

Now these are just five of my favourites and they aren't ranked in order, just the order that they came into my head. Great songs that I've been listening to for many years and don't get tired of, even when I didn't listen to any AC/DC for almost a decade, I could still put on the title track "Let There Be Rock," and enjoy it.
    Honourable mentions:
    Black Sabbath – Black Sabbath
Anaal Nathrakh – In the Constellation of the Black Widow
Caladan Brood – Echoes of Battle
Corrosion of Conformity – In the Arms of God
Devildriver – The Fury Of Our Maker's Hand

Now for my least favourites, just going with ones off the top of my head that I can't stand:
    1. Black Sabbath – Paranoid
    2. AC/DC – Back in Black
    3. Annihilator – All For You
    4. Dream Theater – Octavarium
    5. Iron Maiden – No Prayer For The Dying

Not a fan of any of these songs, and in some cases I'm not a fan of the albums either that they appear on.

  17. Chris Alo I have to disagree on Rust In Peace…Polaris. Christ, have you heard the last minute of that song?! The Polaris part is the best passage of music they have ever penned. So amazing, gets me looking up the tab every time.
Great to hear Christian mention ‘How Will I Laugh?’ though. Glad to see you’re not snubbing that great band.

Not sure which Chris on here is more of the real deal these days 🧐

  18. Welcome Rob Lisanti to the Hudson Valley Squares Show; you were most enjoyable in addition to the other fellows.

Glad he brought up "Paranoid", and I know he said it doesn't suck, that it was just the worst song on the album, but I think it does suck! Always hated that song.

    Favorite Title Tracks:

    1. INXS : Listen Like Thieves – One of my favorite INXS songs, period!!
Kick – My favorite album but my least favorite title track. But it's a damn good song!
Full Moon Dirty Hearts – It's cool because it's a duet w/Chrissie Hynde.
Elegantly Wasted – Not my favorite album or song but it's one of the best on the album.
Underneath The Colours – Okay, people, they're my favorite band for a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Swing – See Underneath the Colours!

    2. U2: Unforgettable Fire – One of my favorite U2 songs.
Zooropa – A great song to kick off the album.

    3. Michael Jackson: Thriller – Not my favorite MJ song but it's a good song. Killer album!
Off the Wall – Love this song and album.
Dangerous – See Off the Wall

    7. Def Leppard: Hysteria – One of my favorite Def Leppard songs. Don't laugh!

    Least Favorite Title Tracks:

    1. Michael Jackson – Bad (The title says it all! It sold half the copies Thriller sold and that's still too much!)

    2. Genesis – Invisible Touch (The song and album are a disappointment and a half. Why I still have this lame album, I don't know?!

    3. Whitesnake – Slip of the Tongue (The whole album pretty much sucks. It's the reason I stopped listening to Whitesnake for a while.)

    4. Warrant – Cherry Pie (Tacky song, tacky video. OMG, what a POS!)

    5. Ted Nugent – Cat Scratch Fever (A juvenile song from a juvenile man!)

    6. Duran Duran – Rio (I don't know why but I've always hated that song!)
