Born in Harlem and raised in Mount Vernon, New York, Combs worked as a talent director at Uptown Records before founding his own record label, Bad Boy Records in 1993. He embarked on his recording career following the success of his first signee, the Notorious B.I.G., for whom he served as manager and hype man. Combsās debut studio album, No Way Out (1997), received critical acclaim, peaked atop the Billboard 200, and received septuple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. He has worked as a producer for other media, including MTVās reality series Making the Band. He launched the clothing retailer Sean John in 1998, for which he won Menswear Designer of the Year from the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2004, having previously been nominated in 2000. Combs served as brand ambassador for the liquor brand CĆ®roc from 2007 to 2023, and co-founded the television network Revolt in 2013. He is one of the wealthiest musical artists.

I recently listened to Biggie and Bone Thugz song Notorious Thugz. Diddie has one single sentence in the song, he says, " Forgive them for they know not what they do." It doesn't fit, its stupid and a perfect example of how he inserted himself just like Suge said.

I really donāt think anyone ever saw Diddy as a rapper I think most people saw him as a label owner/āproducerā with a huge ego that always wanted to make sure people knew he was involved in the development of successful music/artists. Cause thatās exactly what he was lol

I got a real nice SUV in a really really decent camper fine I mean I stopped working at the age of 44 and just retired Iād rather be happy, then rich, and not know who my real friends are because thatās the thing when you have money everybody around you is fake I could write a book on my life, and how I was brought up a little better story than P. What is a garuntee is that this behaviour is defintely more widespread in the entertainment industry. It is sad and pathetic and these people really do need help. Hence why celebrity worship needs to stop. We, as regular people, are feeding this ego maniacal behaviour amongst celebrities.
