  1. If the planet is actually Earth post M.A.D., then humanity has been in space for LITERAL EONS, suggesting they should have evolved FAR beyond what we see, both biologically and technologically. Remember, we find bones that are analyzed as tens of thousands to millions of years old.

  2. I think you might enjoy a Divinity Original Sin 2 iceberg, lots of stuff going on there that gets crazier the more you learn and what characters you interact with. Really in depth game and very fun

  3. Great video. Love the icebergs. Would love to see a Destiny iceberg! The lore in the game runs very deep and is super cool. Or perhaps a God of War iceberg? Just suggestions. Keep up the good work bro

  4. Isaac Asimov in the 1960’s into the 1970’s wrote The Foundation Series. Basically humanity slowly taking over the universe 100,000 years in the future by corporations and kingdoms.

One the biggest spoilers is the humanity is using too much energy from the Universe and has created technology to take energy from parallel universes. The major threat throughout the series is the mega corporations and select kingdoms.

But there is also an extremely advanced alien race watching everything happening. Apparently this race since the beginning of humanity has been telling humanity not to be evil and care about life and the environment of planets in the universe.

At the end of the series there is a green bacteria that attacks people that use the machine that extracts energy from parallel universes.

The fan theory is that the advanced Aliens are either humanity from the Far future or the parallel universe.

Subnautica takes a lot of influence from that book series as well. Different names but similar stories and philosophies. I will not spoil the ending of the series but the first game reminds me of the first book of the series. If the second game is like the second book in themes and background story, you will have some information to the ending and the universe as a whole.

  5. I think the warpers were a massive letdown, they are supossed to hunt you because you are infected, but thei AI is practly harmless, you can spend a lot of time near them and they dont do anything

  6. So as someone who got really into this game, I just want to clarify the subject matter at the beginning of tier 4. The things hunting people and keeping count of targets remaining are the purple teleporting squid creatures. They are hunter/seeker androids built by the aliens to kill survivors from shot down ships. You even encounter a factory where they are assembled inside one of the alien structures.

  8. Those creepy distress calls are from the Warpers, it was the communication between themselves being intercepted by the radio, with the first signal being the Warper stalking and analyzing its target, sharing the targets location with other Warpers. The second signal is most likely a Warper eliminating the target, whether it was an infected peeper or a lost survivor, redirecting its priorities to You .

Extra evidence for this is when interacting with the QEP, your PDA can translate some of the precursor language, and when you get the signals Via radio your PDA will say “Playing Partially Translated Broadcast:” then the message, and we know for a fact that the Warpers are ‘Agents’ to enforce quarantine on the planet, further connecting the two.
Sorry if this sounds like rambling I am writing this at 4AM

  9. The life on the planet is said to evolve extremely fast due to every single one bejng capabke of asexual repoduction, so it may be that in the time between the precursor facility being destroyed and the games the majority of life on the planet is now either immune to or capablenof living with the virus.

The lockdown is still required as whike life on the planet has adapted, everyone else would be tottaly FUCKED.

  10. I can vibe with all these except the last one about the virus being the so called "Savior". It would literally be another cult classic. Some group of crazies, oh sorry, visionaries or perhaps even nature itself decides its time for a clean slate, wipe it all away in some way or another be it war, disease etc. Its the same for the Umbrella corporation in RE, wanting to "cleanse" the planet to start anew.
That ain't no savior friends, but rather an enemy that must be destroyed.
