  1. Note: I do sometimes show footage of the Bottom of the Well while referring to the Shadow Temple. This is just for the sake of aesthetics in the video. Also the Dark Horse books claim that the Shadow Temple, Royal Family's Tomb, and Bottom of the Well are all connected underground. We just don't see their connection in-game. Just wanted to clarify that. I swear Ik the difference between the two places 😂

  2. Speaking of them, only seeing all in their facility, it might be a 3 d radius because if they could only see what's directly in front of them, then why would there be some of them underground that would be pointless so they can see in a 3 d space all around them

  3. The Eyes of the Sheik remind me of Eye of Providence. Maybe Shadow Magic is accessed through some kind of Dark Enlightenment. The ability to see Reality's Shadow, and use it so Hyrulians can have the Light.

  4. I like elements of both theories. There is also the theory that the temple was designed for training, rather than containment. I can honestly see all three. The Sheikah were likely spying with the stones, and had gathered elements of evil into the temple, then why not use evil to train against evil.

  5. Yesss!! Zelda theories are the reason why I subbed to your channel. Thanks for making them. They’re always fun to watch and think about. Even if they’re not true in the end. Besides, everyone can decide for themselves whether a theory is credible or not.

  6. So this whole Big Brother, 1984, theory kind of reminded me of something very disturbing. Do any of you know about China's social credit score? For those who don't it's basically China's version of mass surveillance with redlining. It's a bit inevitable with an authoritarian government, even with a period of peace and prosperity. I was then reminded of China's civil war, that's still technically going on with the situation with Taiwan, but I degrease.

Bringing this back to Zelda, there was a civil war that broke out before OoT, what triggered it? Was it the critics of the Royal Family reaching their limits with their authoritarian rule and broke off? I mean when we start the game, there are several kingdoms and civilizations that seem to operate independently from each other, hinting at a decentralized government, that may have resulted from the civil war.

Link himself grew up off of the grid, living in the wood with no real government oversite, expect the all knowing tree. So the fact that he's using relics of an overseeing government of his quest is a bit ironic.

  7. If you haven't already make a video on the heros shade and why his eye is red. My head Canon is because the hero of time had used the eye of truth so much to the point it gave him the side effect of his eye turning red causing him to go blind in that eye, the evidence being that Bongo Bongo had his eye turned red as well (although a manner of other things had happened to him)

  8. I remember having to read 1984 in high school and I remember when I finished I was legitimately furious, the life of everyone in the book is awful and they built up this relationship with the 2 main characters only for them to get screwed over in the end and for them to be miserable again like wtf. I understand it’s trying to make a point, but it still pissed me off. Seeing the connection in this video got me heated, but I really liked the first theory! Good stuff Andy!

  9. Really went the full nine yards in making the creepy, unsettling vibes here. Unlike the botw version of the sheikah, OOT 's version has always had an undercurrent of darkness and a hell of a lot of skeletons in its closet. I had always thought there was something off about the stones and their purpose, but you went so much grimmer with that idea lol

  10. This is great. Not sure if I've stumbled upon your chan before, but it's too bad I hadn't sooner. It makes for a more intriguing theory when drawing from real life situations, & though they often do a great job, I think other theory channels focus so much on religious & cultural aspects of humanity that they miss making other correlations, like your book references. Gj.

  11. I think the Shadow Temple was used during the Interloper War mentioned in Twilight Princess, which is implied to be the same conflict as the Triforce Wars mentioned in A Link Between Worlds. Those wars were certainly fueled by greed, and involved a lot of bloodshed. So it makes sense that inside the Shadow Temple there is an inscription saying "here lies Hyrule's history of greed and bloodshed."
