Are you guys going to venture to Lake Shikotsu? Was there in 2013, it's the second deepest lake in Japan. It was beautiful there during the Winter Ice Festival. Something to consider covering this Winter perhaps. Have fun! Be safe out there.

As a family of four, we are planning to finally go to Japan in the coming years. Hokkaido often don't seem to be popular with first time travelers, which is sad because it looks absolutely beautiful. That being said the climate seems quite comparable to where we are from, Montréal. Should I need a more drastic change of scenery? I usualy tried to when I travel. I am conflicted here. Maybe your adventure will convince me to focus my trip on this particular region. I still have time to decide. Can't wait for your next videos. Have fun!
