  1. Lee Pace who plays Thranduil, Legolas' dad also played Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. 😅

    "Shhhhhh….there are guards nearby!!
    – Sneaky McSneakson. Lol 😆

The reason the guards are passed out drunk is because they were imbibing the King's best wine which is extremely potent. ROTFLMAO 😂

A dwarvish wind lance is an oversized crossbow/ballista that is mounted on a rotating position. Capable of firing at long range dwarvish black arrows which are metal bolts capable of piercing even a dragon's scaly armor. 😊

  2. Remember the elves dead in dead marshes where frodo fell into the bog? Those are mirkwood elves. Thranduil was in that battle as a prince and his father died there and he became king after that.

  3. Elves do have some extraordinary powers. In Fellowship, Legolas walks on TOP of the snow in the mountains, while the rest trudge through it. That an Elf King like Thranduil could have the power to alter his appearance through Glamour does not seem unlikely.

  4. The elves that got drunk are the wood elves. Logles and his father are high elves. High elves are a bit more enduring then the wood elves. Trying to find the words that would not sound bad. Wood elves can hold their liquer better than mortal beings can but they can't out perform their high elven kin.

  5. You mention Disneyland and I can't help but to think how great a Meddle-Earth theme park would be. You stat in down town Hobbiten then you would have different lands themed to each race surrounding it. Just take my money at that point.

  6. 8:20 Bombur's barrel silliness is straight from the books.
9:40 Why does nowhere in Middle Earth have railings?!
13:20 If I remember correctly, the guy who played Ori was allergic to fish. i don't think all the fish used as props in this scene were real, but you can imagine how much 'fun' he was having.
