As of July 2024, the Tropicana casino is no more. It is being demolished and a sports stadium is being built on the site.

Great video! Informative and entertaining. We honeymooned at the Tropicana back in the early 2000s. Sad to see it go. Newer isn't always better. It's just more expensive.

The monorail must be the most inconveniently planned transportation system in the world. However, I'm sure it was by design to require visitors to walk all the way through hotels on its stops just to get to the stations.

I started going to Las Vegas 1974 when I went in the Navy been going ever since two or three times a year at least if I had the money I would build a superstar dust believe me you would think you were flying on a real spaceship when you, got on the overhead UFO to take you from one end of the casino to the other
