  1. What a great story! I was born in late 1961 so I was just a young boy when the Munsters came out, it was my favorite show. It seems like Mr Gwynne was very a wonderful man. The kind of class and grace he possesed is something that is sadly missing in todays artists. I am glad I watched this, it must have taken considerable time to do the reaserch for this. Very well done.

  3. His story doesn’t touch me as much as others. Rich kids that never had ti struggle a day in their lives and get to go to the top schools on someone else’s dime , no part time work to get his way through it; that doesn’t really strike a nerve w me. In fact I almost don’t have any interest at all

  4. One summer, while on vacation in Fla (Sarasota) in 1962, I got one of my most unforgettable moments while helping out my Uncle at "Atlantis Skin Diving Center". One day while I was charging up some Scuba air tanks in the rear of the store, my Uncle shouted out "hey Rick (me), come up front for a minute, there's someone you'll want to meet". Well, you guessed it, there stood Fred Gwynne in all his natural splendor—-I was floored, and for weeks after that I couldn't get it out of my mind. He was a true gentleman, soft-spoken, and very friendly. He apologized for having to leave so soon after his purchase, (an air mattress, I believe?). What a great guy, I loved him in everything he did! Thanx for all your dedication in putting all this together, a work of art, and love!! Gb

  5. I'm 60, and the Munsters was my favorite show as a kid, Flintstones next. And Fred absolutely great character..something about a monster being kind. And the intro music is on my playlist! Well, my dad's name was Herman so go figure. He was tall, handsome but scared me at times, yet kind in a lot ways. I never related that before now!!!

  6. Loved the Munsters, Adams Family & The Beverly Hillbillies they were good people with good ethic's & morals. A classic case of the right thinking & respected people (society in general) were wrong.
