  1. Stroud was awesome – I was surprised at how well he moved. That said, the 20-25 yd scramble at the end of the game that put OSU in fg range was made possible by a blatant hold against Jalen Carter that wasn’t called.

  2. As someone who didn't have a dog in the fight for the playoffs and went to a school without football their were a few things this weekend that were really suspicious that I wanted to highlight (Note: These are just some of my observations and am keeping to the facts that anyone can go find online and or saw in the games. I am also basing my opinions based of these facts):

*First, it is kind of weird SEC officials got to officiate the first game given that there conference's school was playing immediately after (could dictate the outcome? who knows). Also, the SEC officials sucked as we saw they missed the blatant targeting in the 4th and TD in the first half that turned out to be a pretty important potential 7 points (worth noting one of the refs was also a Ohio State Alumni). Also, the officials were missing a ton of blatant holding calls against the Michigan Offensive Line. Across the board the officials were awful for both teams, but there were some massive calls that somewhat dictated the game.

*In the second game Ohio State dominated Georgia up until the targeting that didn't get called. Georgia went Sean Payton head hunting against Ohio State's top receiver they couldn't stop all game and once he was out of the game it swung drastically. The timeout by Kirby was nuts timewise given it was a "gut call" (still cant believe he called it when he did. have never seen a timeout like that before in my life). Also, the 4th down stop was a stop but got overturned, it was obvious the TE was out of bounds when the ball crossed, but hey the officials made there call. It is worth noting that Ohio State did have a chance with under a minute and missed the field goal, but was just very wild to see how hard the game swung after the no-targeting call.

*ESPN and the SEC have a $3 BILLION deal until 2030 for broadcasting, and ESPN has no contract for BIG 10 football. Given this, wouldn't it be in ESPN's best interest for the SEC to be in the national championship and not give the BIG 10 a free broadcast in the national championship given they have no affiliation with Michigan or Ohio State (even though it would give ESPN the best ratings as the best ratings in the CFP National Championship was Oregon vs Ohio State). Also, can we really be shocked when we hear ESPN push the narrative we have been hearing that the SEC is the best top to bottom since they have a massive contract with the SEC? (even thought the rest of the conference outside of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee has either really struggled and or lost their bowl games). Isn't it also weird that we here the narrative of "oh we had so many players out for our bowl game so that's why we lost and didn't matter", but at the same time we always here about how the SEC has the best recruiting classes of 4 and 5 stars across the conference so shouldn't their rosters just be absolutely stacked with talent in their depth charts? Also, other conferences and teams have players opt out and they aren't making excuses (Pitt is the great example of this as they had 8-9 players opt out of the bowl game and still found a way to beat a ranked UCLA). Isn't it also funny that we hear how impressive it is the SEC gets so many teams in bowl games when they are playing 8 in conference games which is a game less than all the other conferences and schedule FCS teams like Austin Peay in the middle of November? (add an extra in-conference game to the SEC schedule and their would be less SEC teams in bowl games and would have the same average amount of teams in bowl games as other conferences). Also isn't it funny the SEC gets 'neutral site' games in week one all located in the southeast? (Examples: Georgia vs Oregon was in Atlanta – basically a home game for Georgia & LSU vs FSU in the New Orleans Superdome – less than an hour away from LSU. Maybe these games should happen in Minneapolis or Indy to truly be neutral site?)

*Lastly my opinion, the SEC and ESPN are genius in a sense because they keep doing the same thing every year and people and conferences complain about it but do absolutely nothing. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing twice but expecting a different result. The best thing for these other conferences is to stop complaining and actually make some changes. First thing to do is stop going and playing these 'neutral site' games in the southeast or playing these SEC teams at home week 1 or 2. What are you accomplishing other than giving the SEC and ESPN what they want? As we have seen year over year an out of conference team will always be at a disadvantage playing an SEC team on the road with SEC Officials. Solution to this is to play other conferences instead (Pac 12 vs ACC, BIG 10 vs Big 12, etc.) as this leaves the SEC out and ruins the narrative we have seen for years. On the topic of early season games, they accomplish nothing as a team doesn't fully have an identity and their is 0 reason to hinge your potential fate on week 1 when you can take a few weeks to develop and find your team identity (in my opinion I would like these out of conference games to happen in November when teams have an identity and have played some tough matchups, but I doubt this will ever happen). Also, other conferences need to start playing 8 conference games and scheduling an extra FCS game a year as it stops the narrative of "we get the most teams in bowl games", as bottom tier programs at other conferences will get in bowl games just like the SEC does. Like I said these are my opinions and I have no problem if people disagree or agree with them. Happy New Year to All!

  4. As a buckeyes fan of course I'm not happy about the outcome but we took the defending champs down to the wire. What's funny in all this going in especially from major media markets the headlines was "What does OhioState need to do to win?" "How can OhioState hang with Georgia?" Today it's "Georgia upsets OhioState" lol I can't with the these big time media markets lol 😆 I understand the biases but OhioState recruits against Alabama and Georgia and Clemson on a regular basis.

  5. So now you have to have taken an NFL team to the Super Bowl to be the best college coach. Okay Colin smh the man is literally 1-6 in bowl games and you want to tell us you’ll take him over Nick Saban and Kirby?

  6. Where Colin was wrong?

U can tell he's irritated by the Michigan loss because it ruined his narrative. He's been calling them the best team and Harbaugh the best coach all season. The real sad part about it is that he still tries to justify his narrative by giving out offensive stats because thats Harbaugh "side of the ball" as if hes just the OC. Smh

  7. Colon hair plugs Coward is a complete 🐍. I’ve said it many times. Harbaugh’s team made it to 1 Super Bowl that he lost! He is 1-6 in playoff games. Yet Colon said he was a better coach the Saban. When he said that he lost all credibility. He has Harbaugh on his show occasionally and brags about a friendship with him. So that tells you everything you need to know about Coward and his lousy hair plugs.

  8. If anyone listens to his betting predictions, good luck. He is horrible. This week he was 1-4, not including the Michigan & Ohio losses. He is 52% on the season. Better luck closing your eyes and picking games then listening to Colin the 🐍.
