The Harsh Canadian Mountain Rich In Wildlife And Minerals | Written in Stone

This remote mountain called Mount Todagin in British Columbia is known as “Serengeti in the sky”, yet it was once the ocean’s floor. Life here exists on the narrowest of margins, and yet this inhospitable landscape nurtures an exotic species of mountain sheep called Stone sheep. Indigenous peoples have used this mountain for millennia, and its very minerals which attract the stone sheep may also cause them both the people and animals to abandon Mount Todagin forever when plans of an open-pit mine are come to the surface.
